A little bulky. I bought these primarily to use for disc golf. They are a little stiff and bulky out of the box, but hopefully they will break in well.

Feels like a sturdy pair of hiking shoes. They had some unevenness in the sole of the heels that may need some break-in. I ordered a size 11, but would need an 11.5. Also, they are all leather which is too hot for the summer. So, am returning them for now.

Shoes were too stiff. Couldn't get them broken in. Can't be certain but I think they aggravated the degenerated disks in my back. Sorry.

This shoe has fallen apart for my son. We ordered in Dec and now are falling apart. My husband and I use Merrells all the time and we have never had this problem. We dont know what happened. My 15 year old son wears them to school and for activities but Merrells should not fall apart like this in only 3 months.
