Overall look and feel is great. Unfortunately they are just a little too big and I think I may need to go down a half size.

I started wearing these shoes over a week ago and noticed immediately that they were very squeaky walking in our home on hardwood floors. I thought after walking a number of times outside the soles would wear and the squeak would be gone. We'll it's been a week or so and no improvement, in fact, they have worsen. Very disappointing!

Strangely, my shoes appear to have dog hair in them. It appears that someone had these before me and wore them around the house maybe?

These shoes are as comfortable as one would expect from Merrell. This issue I found with them is that the soles started to wear VERY quickly after I purchased them. Within 2-3 months the soles were worn down a lot, like almost halfway. I don't even wear them every day. Typically Merrell shoes wear very slowly. I've had some that have lasted many years. Unfortunately these ones won't stand the test of time.

Toe stickers Ching started fraying within the first month. Then the black toe piece tore where it flexes with your toes after two months. Then the insults started delaminating after the 3rd month. I love Merrell but this was not their best shoe.

I was extremely satisfied with the comfort and traction this shoe offered. Unfortunately the front toe area where the seam is started to rip open and now has a huge hole.

Was looking for something to beat around in during a Wisconsin winter. Odd fit. Plenty of room in the toe box, snug in the mid foot, but my heel can't stay in the shoe. I put the lace through the second hole and tied them as tight as I could...my heel still wanted to pop out every step. Cushioning isn't the best, most Merrell hikers I've tried on have the cushioning of a 2x4 strapped to your foot. The sole width on these are on the narrow side. Between this and the rubber being rock hard, I didn't feel fully confident walking down a snowy sidewalk. I gave it a few days hoping maybe they'd get better after a brief break in period, but am left disappointed and stuck with a shoe that is basically useless to me. Will donate to the local salvation army or goodwill.

For the price the workmanship is poor. In less than 2 months the stitches started to come lose. Not impressed at how quickly the sole is wearing. Likely not to get one year from them. I have owned other Merrill Shoes that have proved to be of better value.

I bought the Mens shoes for a wider fit and Gortex because I wanted all-weather shoes to travel and hike.
Unfortunately I nearly fell on a wet cobbled roadway in London and very slippery on some stone steps. Whenever it had been raining in London, I couldn't wear the shoes so I was very apprehensive wearing them at all. The grip is very disappointing. I notice that I am not the only one with this experience. Unfortunate as I find them very comfortable and waterproof.

These seemed to be too tight compared to other shoes by Merrell of the same size. They also did not have much cushion.

This pair of shoes should never have made it past quality control. The left boot fits fine. The right boot has issues. The inside fit at the flex point is severely binding. I used a string to measure the width of the left boot vs right boot. The right boot was narrower by 1/4 inch. The tongue of the right boot is made from a longer piece of material as well. The combination of narrower width and more material to bunch up at the toe
creates a painful problem with every step taken. I should have paid more attention when I took them out of the box. The cardboard insert from the right boot was crushed. It had to have been forced into the narrower toe area at the factory.
Another problem is that the arch support on the right boot is too far back towards the heel. This can be seen as well. The foot bed insert sits higher up the inside of the boot than the insert of the left boot. I would expect a full refund on this purchase.
I am wearing the Merrell Moab shoes I purchased 5 years ago. This pair from day one out of the box has been the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. Please make this right.
