The size 9 is true to size, but is too small for me. Shoes are well made and seem sturdy. I was unable to test if they were waterproof.

I was looking for a warm, casual shoe for the winter and this shoe has kept my feet dry and warm. I like that they fit well with my bootcut flannel lined jeans! My only complaint is the fit of the shoe is a little odd. It runs narrow in the foot, but wide in the ankle. Like any shoe though, I'm sure it'll get more comfortable when they get broken in. I normally wear size 7 in shoes, but purchased 7.5 based on the reviews. I ended up exchanging the 7.5 for 7 and the 7 fit better.

This boot is perfect for what I was looking for. It's cute and durable. I had to exchange it for a 1/2 size larger than what I normally wear because it's very tight/narrow. Even the larger size is still very narrow but I am hoping that it'll stretch enough to be comfortable with enough wear.

This is such a nice shoe, but it runs too narrow. I am an average sized person who wears normal sized shoes. I loved the shoe, but I couldn't put weight down on my feet because they were cramped on the sides.

I wear this shoes in one of my adventure trip last month. I was in Mt. Titlis in Switzerland. I would say it's give me some pain when I used it at the first time for the whole walking but after using a couple of times I think the shoes adjusted on the shape of my feet which is a bit wide. You also need to size up since it's running a bit small. I am a size 7 in tennis shoes and I ordered size 7.5 but I think if I wear a thick socks it will give me discomfort. I felt some cold too when I was playing with the snow you definitely need to wear a thick socks in order to protect tour feet from cold.

Purchased a 9 and my feet barely fit with socks on. It has a narrow fit. Will suggest to buy a size or two depending on the sock you plan to use. Kept my feet very warm over the winter.

As soon as these were deliveredI tried them on and they were very sturdy feeling, up over the ankle and stiff in a good way. I felt they'd be durable and great for hiking and daily walking on the property as I have a very unstable ankle. I have been wearing them for 2 weeks on the property since that time. I'm on dirt, gravel, big rocks, mud, you name it, daily. After the first 3 days of wearing them they loosened a lot, to the point of no longer providing the nice sturdy feeling on the sides. If they could have maintained their initial sturdy feeling (which was not uncomfortable by any means) I would really recommend these boots. The tongue of the shoe however is the worst feature. It bends open toward your toes to the point of being totally "open" and everything falls into the shoe if you're not wearing pants that cover the top of the boot. The shoe laces come just to the point where this is unavoidable when tying the laces. In terms of comfort and size, they're true to size in my opinion. I'm a wide 11 and I have no issues. There is no support for the arch of the foot. In terms of warmth, I've not noticed my feet cold and Central Oregon gets cold at night. I'm also wearing them daily in the sunshine and I'm not too hot. They've been rained on and I haven't noticed wet feet. Overall, I'm not overly amazed with these boots unfortunately, I wanted a lightweight comfortable and sturdy boot and these are like a sneaker disguised as a boot. I'll be wearing them out of necessity but if I had a better boot I'd choose another.

Couldn’t get my size to fit in this boot. My foot would need to have a joint at midpoint to even try to see if length and width would be adequate. I have found that Columbia - in all it's clothing, runs small.

When other people said these ran small and narrow, I thought I would be fine since I have a very narrow foot (like special order running shoes narrow) but these shoes are so small. Some of it is the width, but mostly they are not a deep shoe (the tongue of the shoe presses very hard on the top of my foot even when I'm just wearing regular socks). I so wanted to love these but will be returning them. Disclaimer: I do have pronated feet so my arches are a little higher than normal, but Columbia hiking shoes have always fit perfectly.

I don't have the widest foot, in fact I thought my foot was pretty average to narrow almost. For some reason I couldn't get either foot into these boots without great effort! Even with the laces undone. As a busy mom and Minnesotan, these boots need to be easy to use and they just don't cut it. I still am in love with their cute style- but once I did get them on (with a lot of flailing) they weren't very comfortable either. So sad. They are getting returned ASAP.

Size was fine. I wear8.5 so I ordered 8.5 they fit well. But they are very stiff and loose in the ankle. It’s in the 30’s here today and my toes are frozen. So they aren’t much on keeping feet warm. They are cute. So they’ve got that going for them. I recommend sorel
