Durable, rugged with excellent grip. Comfortable for walking, running and climbing.

Maybe not 100% waterproof, but these are great shows! I have many Merrell shoes (as well as other Merrell products), and these shoes are up there with the rest of them.

I build houses for a living and this shoe is by far the best I had for awhile. The waterproof is great on those muddy days. Plus they are great for the uneven ground of the job site. I will definitely buy this shoe again!

Good quality, warm shoes. They fit well with good traction on ice and snow. Deeper snow I wear my Merrell mid high boots.

Fantastic traction and moderate water resistance! This shoe has been an excellent winter shoe no problem with the snow and ice and has kept my feet warm on the coldest of days!

Great shoes. Very durable and comfortable. I wear these for work. They get muddy and wet all the time and still holding up after 4 months. They cleanup easy and look good enough to wear out for thw evening.

Excellent shoe. Fits great, looks great. It's hiking boot but looks great as an everyday shoe.

I have worn Merrell Moabs for the last dozen years or so and little by little have been replacing all of my shoes with some Merrell product or other. All have fit well and are very comfortable. I have not ordered the Forestbound before but decided to try something different in a tie model and have been very pleased. As with other Merrells they have been very comfortable for walking and have been a little nicer looking shoe that I felt very comfortable wearing to outdoor church this summer (but they would have been fine for indoor church, too!).

I have bad arches and just bad feet, these shoes fit well and are very confortable shoes. I have 3 pairs of these and would not buy any thing else

This product replaces a pair I purchased in Seattle some 14 years and over 5,000 miles of power walks. I have little doubt that the new pair will give me an equal amount of outstanding service.

Bought this for yard work, so far great comfort and dry feet

The shoes are perfect for walking my dog on wet grass in the morning or under the rain. They are waterproof (at least to rain and morning dew; I have not tested walking in a water puddle yet). They are also comfortable walking on the sidewalk. I also like the neutral black color.
