Our teenage daughter had been wanting this pair of shoes for a few years now. We just haven't been in a place, financially, where we could justify spending this much on shoes that she might grow out of in a few months. She doesn't get emotional very often, besides normal teenager stuff, but we were able to sneak this pair of shoes under the tree last year and she completely broke down and cried when she unwrapped them! These shoes are really comfortable but definitely you have to size down I'm usually a size 7 but needed to purchase a 6 so they could fit great other than that I love them
