The shoes are great. But they do take a bit of wearing in to soften around the heel

Been wearing Sambas for over 20 years. Not for the fashion, but because it's the only comfortable street shoe I've ever worn. I can travel, walk around for hours, be in them daily and they are comfy. I'm a women's 7.5 in all my women's shoes. But, for Sambas I size down and wear a Men's 6. I have wide feet, but since this is a men's sized shoe, it is wider than a women's shoe would be. So, if you are a first time buyer and you are a woman with wide feet, I would disregard what others say about the shoe being narrow as it doesn't necessarily apply to us. Also, the sizing chart that adidas provides.... I'd go a half size lower than they recommend. At a men's 6 / women's 7, the fit of this Samba is not too long and not narrow at all. Same goes for the busenitz pro and handball shoes I've worn I the past. Sambas are comfy right out of the box. No break in period needed. I feel that if any shoe isn't comfortable right out of the box then it won't ever be. Also, just beware that not all Sambas fit the same. So if you but one style, another may or may not fit or be comfy. I bought some ADV RYR's, they were extremely narrow with a very low heel that slipped and were unwearable. I even sized up to a Men's 6.5. Didn't fit. Samba Millennium's were uncomfortable in the midsole. Couldn't wear those either. I love Samba OG's. I wish they'd bring back MiAdidas though so I could customize the colors and material again.
