They were not lighter brown like the picture. They were dark and purple

I was excited to try on my first pair of Avenger work boots when they were delivered. The fit was very nice when I did a test walk in my living room. There wasn’t any rubbing on my ankles or painful squeezing on either bone growths from gout I have at the first joint of each big toe, but I eventually felt the safety boots to be a little too big for my foot. The toe box was comfortable, I could even cross my toes in there, but the shoes were also about a half inch too long. I ended up returning size 6.5 wide and ordering 6.0 wide, since size 6.0 wide in New Balance athletic shoes has been the size I’ve worn for many years. I’ve returned the 6.5 wide boots that are too big and am now waiting to buy the same Avenger style safety boots in my regular shoe size.

Great fit . needs arch support

they fit very well. But the longer i wore them at work the worse my feet felt. Once i took them off. I realized that they had cut the top of one of my feet.

Boots look nice but require insoles.

Ok, so the sizing is off on this model. I usually wear a 39/women's 8.5. The 8.5 I got was marked as 40.5, and the 8 as 40. So 7.5 would be 39. That said, this Boot is super comfortable right out of the box with lots of padding. The toe box is quite tall, so the look is more like a biker boot.

It fit perfect

As someone coming from a more "traditional" boot specifically Durango's size 8.5 M and a regular sneaker size 7.5, I can say for me ordering this boot in a size 7.5 W made the boot maybe half a size too big for my foot. They are fairly comfy with minimal arch support, so I do recommend buying insoles especially if you're at amazon on your feet all day. Ankle support could be a little better but it is not terrible. They look good and feel like a solid pair of boots on your foot. I usually wear compression socks that are knee-length but have not had a problem with chafing of any kind on my leg or heel. They look good with jeans and leggings.

I love the look of these boots and the fit. I added some extra socks and or insoles and I’m good to go.

I was worried about them, bcuz I had already returned 5 others, but these were better than any, just wear long socks to protect your ankles, I can do my 8-10 hours z& not suffer!! My next bits are going to be Sketchers for sure!!! Good luck!!

They were good not great but good and that's what matters.

I’ve had these shoes for about a year. They are a little bit heavy and take some getting use to. They do rub on my ankles so wear long socks or pants to help prevent rubbing. Definitely buy different shoe inserts, because the ones that come in these boots are not comfy for long periods of time wearing them. Your feet will sweat in these. Overall it’s pretty good.

They were actually very comfortable but definitely runs big

The fit was perfect. The arch support wasn't there that much for me, so I had to get soles. It might differ depending on person. Overall, it's a pretty good shoe to wear for 10 hours a day.

Outside of the comfort, they really wear well. I did have to buy insoles for the memory foam, but other than that I enjoy them!!!! Thank you!!!!

I like the fit. The round label on the tongue warped eventually and was hard to tie securely.

The fit was a little to wide and the it felt like the size was a little bigger than a 11.

These arent too bad. By the end a 8 hr shift to a 10 hr shift i have my slippers in my car to switch into after my shift and to drive in. They are bulky and a bit heavy at first. Better than the 1st pair i got but still not the best to keep my feet happy still prefer running shoes ( so comfortable) to any type safety shoes.
