I work in an industrial setting and need steel or comp toe boots, which I wear for 10 hour stretches. I ordered over a dozen pairs from Zappos, including well known brands like Timberland, Keen, and Caterpillar. This pair by Avenger was hands down the most comfortable, and the least expensive as well. All of the other pairs I tried were very stiff around the ankle, and I knew they would rub for a while until I broke them in. Not this pair. The ankle collar was secure but soft and padded and extremely comfortable from the start. The overall fit is accurate if roomy. I ordered a 9W, which is my regular size. They fit very evenly in width, length, and toe box. They are definitely a little bit loose all around, but not in a bad way. I added a pair of heavy duty insoles over the original insoles, and that took up the extra space perfectly. When the weather turns cold I'll likely remove the original insoles and switch to thicker socks. They fit well and I don't feel like I'm dragging them around as I walk--they fit like a solid pair of hiking boots. I have two minor complaints, and they're really minor. The first is that the shoelaces are way too long. I replaced them with 68" laces that are much better in length. And the second super minor complaint--these are not super attractive, especially the pale blue accent color. I would rather have gray or even just black as that second color. But considering how comfortable they are I'm willing to let that go. And my replacement laces that I mentioned above are fluorescent yellow, so the boots look a little snazzier.

When first opened the box, I thought the shoes were going to be too big. Then trying them on, I still wasn't sure. But then wearing at work, they were the most comfortable shoes or boots I've ever worn. They fit perfectly and I didn't even have to "break them in". I live these shoes! They're were the perfect balance of sturdy support and walking on pillows.

I ordered wide bc I like extra room. They are really comfortable. After 80hrs of running around Amazon, the ball of the feet wore down. I felt it with my hands & it's thinner than the rest of the shoes. By end of that shift, I had blisters on balls of my feet. The rest of the shoes are very comfortable. They have insulation, which made my feet sweaty. Normally I have cold feet. They are heavy like dirt bike motorcycle boots. If youre not used to wearing heavy boots, you wont like them. They did break in within an hour of wearing them. They held up well so far. I constantly kick cages etc with my feet. I couldnt feel it with these boots. Theres barely a scratch on them.

I love these boots for warehouse work. I ordered mine a half size larger than I typically wear to accommodate the composite toe and they fit exactly how I thought they would.

Got these shoe for work. We're on our feet all day. They feel amazing. So comfortable and great for sore feet. My previous boot formed blisters and friction burns, but when I switched to these shoes, both are healing within days. These shoes didn't make the wounds worse. I highly recommend.

True to some of what other reviewers have stated, these boots are pretty damn comfortable, requiring little to no break-in period. The fit is roomy, but comfortably so that there's no slipping in the back/heel. They are lighter than I expected, which is a plus, and they don't look completely horrible (like some of pairs of work shoes I looked at). There is a removable insole (I believe) and it's pretty comfy but seems to be wearing out pretty quickly. I'm not sure I've been wearing these even a month and I can tell it's going to get an upgrade soon... but with it's cheaper price point, that won't be a problem! If you work in a warehouse (i.e. Amazon!!) I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by these, and I highly recommend (especially if you've only been wearing tennis shoes to work).

I ordered these in wide. In wide, there's plenty of room for thick socks, if needed. The wide version is like men's wide shoes. I like the lacing is looped around loop holders & not laced through holes. It makes it easier to take on & off. I never broke them in before wearing them to work. I work @ non-sort FC, an older model with non-stop walking 10 hrs a day. It took about an hour before they were broken in. They are very comfortable with a strong arch support. I was locking/unlocking cages with my feet throughout the day. There's no visible markings from it. My toes ever hurt from it. They do have some weight to them, like Carhartt or motorcycle boots. If you're not used to it, they would be heavy to you. I uploaded pictures of what my shoes look like after working 10 hrs.

I am very satisfied with this shoes. I read a lot of the reviews before buying it and I’m glad I didn’t follow it. A few people said that the shoe runs small, that was not my experience, I wear a size 8 and that’s what I got, it fits perfect. The toe box is wide enough for your toes to feel comfortable. The arch support could be better but it is still adequate. I definitely recommend and when time comes to replace it, I will get this again.

Absolutely love these boots!!! Amazon delivered these boots Friday night and I wore them the very next day for a full 12hr shift….ZERO pain in my feet/knees/etc…they are super comfortable!! I deliver for Amazon full time and on my feet in crazy Colorado elements for a minimum of 10-12hrs x 4days per week and right out of the box these puppies delivered! I always struggle with shoes because My beautiful mama passed on to me her wide and thick feet :/ so finding a pair of shoes that does pinch and kill my feet is crazy. I can wear depending on the shoe/maker between an 8.5-9 and I ordered a 9 wide-D and these boots even with thick socks along with my compression stockings still give me room to breath. So I would definitely recommend these boots.

These boots are not only cute but they’re super comfortable! The arch support is pretty great especially considering that’s not a part of its listed details! So I was not expecting these to be as comfortable as they are!

I ordered half a size up from my regular shoe size and it was definitely the right decision. They fit comfortably with some wiggle room for my toes. The insoles are nice with decent arch support but with my plantar fasciitis I had to slip in my custom inserts for work which isn’t really an issue. Great boot definitely recommend.

Shoe is very heavy and uncomfortable had them on for about 15-20 minutes and my feet felt like they where on fire

Okay, so I've been on a journey with these boots. The first pair I ordered was the size I normally wear. I work in an Amazon warehouse and I didn't account for the fact that my feet swell halfway through every shift. I loved the boots and thought they were SO cute but the pain was too much. I returned them and ordered a half size up in wide. Now they are PERFECT!!!! I removed the insert that came with them and have 2 inserts in them that I bought separately. I'm in heaven in these boots and would highly recommend them. They are a bit on the heavy side but not a deal breaker for me. I broke them in easypeasy in one shift. Super cute and I'm a happy Amazonian!

Previous safety tennis shoes either didn't fit or felt like cement, they were so heavy. These work boots didn't feel that heavy. They fit well. They look great. I only wish there was a memory foam insert because they feel a little hard to walk on, but I can get that from the store, it's not a big deal. These are a great purchase!

The size was perfect. It's very comfortable and very cushion inside. Love the color and the style of the boot.

Wonderful fit just right

Initially reaction 1st day I wore them I wore low socks. Uncomfortable 2nd Day I wore knee high socks with another pair of low ankle socks Made a big difference. Overall they are comfortable and I like the design of the Shoes

I was recently fitted with orthotics for size 9.5, so I ordered these boots in 9.5 My orthotics fit fine. Overall, the boot is a little bit loose, but I like to wear cushy wool socks with workboots, so the looseness is perfect with my bulky socks.

BUYER BEWARE! Was willing to fork over the money for these for the great reviews and supposed durability. I am in construction. Have used these less than 2 months and the sole is separating from the boot. I will spend my day off going to buy another pair of quality boots in person with a stitched sole. I am beyond angry about this.

I really like the shoes I got. I needed work boots really bad since I work at a warehouse. Glad I got to receive this benefit. I have foot issues because of old foot injuries so they will always hurt. But these have saved me from excruciating pain that I would have after working a 10hr shift. The fit is great true to size. These boots are very comfortable it felt like I was wearing sneakers than boots. It is not as heavy and great to wear in the snow and ice weather. I recommend anyone to purchase these boots.

Exactly what I expected after reading all the reviews. Got these in my size but wide because of neuropathy. Wore them through a 10 HR shift first night. Not heavy, not clunky. Had arch support. So happy with these. This is my 2nd pair of Avengers. First pair were low tops. Happy with this brand.

My actual size is 8 but also i order 8.5 and i feel little bit hard to work and my feet hurts but the materials is so good and its looks is so awesome i really love it.
