I've worn these everywhere, from forest, beach, and grocery store.

I have worn these boots several times while walking roadways, steep terrain and marshy areas for hours at a time. They provide great support and are comfortable.

This booy has been great for my work, standing, steps, and moving short distances all day. The heel gel in the description caught my attention and the waterproof aspect, and both have been perfect for my job!

Best work boot ever! Ready-to-wear right out of the box. My old pair only lasted for a year and a half, but they saw some use as a commuter shoe as well as constant abuse at work. I would never survive backroom retail without these. Let's see how long I can make this pair last now that I only wear the new pair at work and use different shoes to commute!

I work in a foundry and I'm on my feet all day. I had a pair of wolverines and by the end of the day my feet would be soaked with sweat and my feet hurt. I've always loved merrells for hiking so I bought these for work and the difference was night and day. They provide the same comfort and support as my hiking shoes and let my feet breathe despite a very warm environment in the summer. I am 8 months into this pair and they are still going strong. I plan on purchasing again when this pair wears out.

These are a great work boot and very comfortable. The only thing that would make them better is if they had a zipper down the ankle for quick removal.
