I stand in one place for hours, so I find that LESS arch support is better for me. These shoes are flatter, but if you want to add some cushion then go up a size... The composite toe has small holes to let the heat from your feet escape. These are really good shoes for standing in one place. I got the extra wide too, EE wide. If your shoe size is 12, then go bigger to size 13.

I bought these for my son who needed tennis shoes. But they are very nice, heavy work shoes with sturdy toe protection. If he had wanted or needed that, they would have been great, but since he didn't, I returned them.

Fit and size are accurate. They could use better arch support and overall cushioning, as the comfort level drops substantially after roughly 5-6 months. Other than that, the shoes hold up well and I am about to purchase another pair.
