The shoes have a perfect width for my sons feet. I think the sizes are more generous than other brands but true to the Plae size chart. However, after only three weeks of use, the rubber bottom is separating from the fabric side of the shoe. They do not seem to be as durable as the Keen shoes I’ve purchased in the past.

Even cuter in person than in the photo. Unfortunately, my kid seems to now insist on at least 2 (preferably 4+) different colors on a shoe. If you have a more monochromatically inclined kid - this one is great.

Cute shoes! These seem different than other Plae shoes, though, for these reasons: (1) They seem narrower. This actually works better for our kid. (2) The velcro tabs are not interchangeable. They are sewn in. This is not a huge deal, but ended up being the reason that we are sending these back. They fit great, but the kid is not very excited about a monochromatic shoe. He wants *all the colors*. If the tabs were removable, we could just get some other colors, but alas. Off to look for a different pair of shoes, with more rainbow colors.
