The fit on this particular style is WAY off from my normal shoe size. I wear size 8 US which typically equates to a 39 European for me. I had bought a pair of this style previously in a different color in a size 40 because of the recommendations to buy a larger size. I should have returned them because the 40 was too small, but at the time I figured that they would stretch out to fit comfortably (they didn’t). I just bought another pair of the Margo style,this time a size 41. Unfortunately,they barely feel any larger than the size 40. I really love the style,but the sizing is so totally off that I don’t see myself buying another pair unless they fix the sizing issue. (I also bought a pair in the Catwalk style in the size 41, and they are way too big! Unfortunately that pair was on final close out so I can’t return them!)

Ordered this in an 11, which is half size up for me. I could hardly get my foot into this shoe. It was tight and too short. There is nothing larger, so even though I love the look, I won't be wearing these shoes.

Five-star style, EXCEPT that the tight fit and poor quality eliminated most of the stars. I ordered the shoes twice: The first pair (size 9 US, or technically size 40 European) had moderate arch support but were too small. So, I exchanged them for a size 10 US, or size 41 European). This second pair was also too small, had no arch support at all, and was generally shoddier. Obviously, they'd come from a different maker. BOTTOM LINE: You could take a chance that the shoes you order will be fine, but be prepared to be disappointed. These were exactly the kind of shoes I wanted, but I have to keep looking elsewhere. Five or so years ago, Sketchers sold a very similar shoe—well made and ridiculously comfortable. I still wear them. I've written twice to Sketchers asking that they reissue them. But they've apparently moved on. Alas.

defective straps on both shoes

I read the reviews & ordered up 1/2 size. Could barely get it on my feet. I returned them.

I have purchased Bernie Mev in the past in size 38. I am a US size 7. I purchased first pair in a 38 and they were too big. I returned and purchased a second pair in a 37 and they slipped right off. Apparently Berne Mev is not making the same shoe as they previously did. I am very disappointed. Hope my original pair lasts many more years.

I wear 8-81/2 size shoe. I ordered the size 40, which , according to their chart, is equivalent to a size 10. I couldn't even get my foot into the shoe., so it is at least 2 sizes too small. I say: "Bernie, get your act together with sizing, and stop wasting peoples time and Zappos shipping $"

I love the styling of this shoe. I have had 2 orders of the Margo shoe so far and returning both. I wear an 8.5, I have tried a 38 and 39 with no luck. They are so small, I cannot believe how off the sizing is. Not sure if I want to go for the 40....what is up with these, they are tiny.
