When the jacket came in, I was incredibly satisfied with what I had purchased. It looked identical to the picture and the inside is very soft! The pockets even zip up (which is something the pictures do not show, so I was super excited when I discovered this). I ordered as a Christmas present for my dad because he works outside a lot. He absolutely loves it and is upset he has to wait until Christmas to wear it. It's perfect because it is water proof on the outside, and it will still keep you warm on the inside. I loved it so much, I decided to get the female version for myself!!

Great jacket! My boyfriend loved it. Great for someone who doesn't like bulky coats as it's warm and very lightweight. Runs a little large.

The jacket is very well made. Warm (for Texas kind of winter), comfortable, everything that should be adjustable is adjustable. Still didn't text it in rainy conditions, but everything else is perfect. Good job, Columbia.

I used to work for a competing outdoor apparel company, and I have always loved Columbia the most. I HATE crunchy rain jacket material - Columbia's rain tech is soft, comfortable and functional. A+

I've been a Columbia customer for decades now. In additional to several winter coats (I bought the Rugged Parka this year), I have a few Columbia raincoats and at least one fleece. Previously, around this time of year, when it rained, I would layer a fleece with one of my Columbia jackets. Although that works, this year I wanted additional mobility, so I bought the Sherpa. The Sherpa is light-weight, but the inner lining keeps you warm and the outer shell will keep the rain off of you. I just tried the jacket in a light rain (without an umbrella) and you can see that the water pellets don't penetrate the shell.

I love this jacket! It fits great and is just what I needed.

Lining doesn't go throughout entire jacket, but is more like a vest. While water resistant, it is not the Omni-Tech fully waterproof.

Lightweight and comfortable jacket. The lining is only in the chest area, so it is not suitable for very cold weather. I was hoping for full lining, but this is still a very good jacket for cool or wet weather

Just the right weight and warmth/wind protection I wanted. Having an inner or outer chest pocket would make the jacket more capable and useful.

Great jacket. It is warmer than you think. Perfect to keep in the car or hit the trail. The only reason it does not have 5 stars is because the armpit holes are a little too snug.

This is perfect for fall/spring weather in Vermont!

My son enjoys wearing this jacket when it rains. He says it isn't too thick or too thin.

Love the material for my husband and it fits true to size. The only thing he noticed was that the sherpa lining is not all throughout the jacket. The sleeves is lacking the sherpa lining which is a little disappointing.

The jacket fit great for an xxl. I usually wear xxl for jackets. The only thing that could be better is having Sherpa lined on the arms and the full back. Only part of the back of the jacket is sherpa lined.

Very nice and warm. I ordered later than I should have but it was still delivered in time for Christmas. Love the product and the product line
