I absolutely love the look of these boots but the stitching on the calf pressed in too much and hurt. I couldn't walk around the house without pain. There's no way there leather would give and these would break in. I've never had problems with Docs but these were an instant no gos.

These boots are advertised as soft leather. These are not leather, they are plastic. Very disappointed

Excellent craftmanship. Medium weight leather is supple and beautiful. True to fit - plenty of room @ toes, comfortable with mid-weight sock. Nylon lining is warm and soft. Look forward to wearing fall and winter for years!

I love the look/style of these boots. Love the subtle black embroidery detail. As another reviewer commented, these are not soft leather. They feel like most other Doc Martin's that I've owned. But I like that more industrial look, so it works for me. My feet are half-sized, so I ordered a size up and wear thicker socks with them. I stuck an arch support in them to some better support while I'm walking to work.

I received a pair of boots with the right sole almost a 1/4 inch wider and about 1/8 inch longer than the left. That's about the size difference between unisex and women's so maybe they got a sole in the wrong box or something. I'm sending them back and reordering in the hopes that another pair will not have the same mistake. Hopefully not a problem with the entire run or anything.

I love these boots. I had the same problem another writer mentions in that they crease between the embroidered flowers in a way that’s painful. Bulky socks fix it. And the tongue is leather, but the rest of the shoe does not seem to be leather. I still love them. And they’re great for keeping me steady on my feet after a serious injury that left me with some permanent wobbliness. If I have to wear flats with good support, I’ll buy these.

I got soooo many compliments. I love these shoes. My ONLY bad review is in the left shoe by the tongue on the inside it digs into the top of my foot and hurts tremendously after a while... yeah other than that I love them!!
