This was a gift for my granddaughter. She loves them.

My 13 year old daughter says they are really, really nice. They are comfortable and shock absorbing.

I always wear the same size in Dr Martens, but for some reason, these felt a full size smaller. Nothing wrong with the boot though!

I really wanted to try a pair of traditional Docs. I got a 8 size as recommended by some reviews (I wear a 7) and they are way too big. Also, really heavy. I don't think the high calf is going to work for me either. Not used to the rubbing on the back of my calf. Not the shoes fault at all, just food for thought.

Doc Martens are a slightly uncomfortable to break in, but after wearing for a little while they quickly become one of your favorites. Whether they add edge to a spring dress or amplify a fall outfit, it’s hard not to notice them. Maintain the leather and these boots will last years.

The fit was fine, but the shoes themselves felt like flimsy knock-offs. Definitely not the same quality as Docs I've bought previously. The uppers felt like they were made from polyvinyl, the soles didn't even look like they'd been trimmed from the molds. Save your money and go with something else.
