These boots look awesome! They felt normal in sizing however the only drawback was that I had the buckles at the very top of boot in the very last hole, they were difficult for me to buckle by myself and after husband assisted they were to tight around my ankle/calf and dug into my leg. Ugh, regretfully have to send back because they were uncomfortable:(

Unfortunately I think I will be returning these. I love the style. The straps are really tight. The tongue is very stiff so it hurts to put the straps tighter. It hurts the top of my foot and leg when I try to walk in them. Not sure if they would eventually break in. I’m really sad they aren’t more comfortable.

The style is outstanding and I’m sure the leather would soften over time, HOWEVER, the straps around the top are WAY TOO SHORT. I tried these on previously in a Doc store and thought it might be a defective pair, but nope, these straps need to be another 1-2 inches long to be able to buckle on a slim to medium leg; my lower leg is by no means large, but these are only going to fit you if you can tighten the laces up so the front of the boot is completely closed. I think it’s a defect with this boot unless you have very skinny legs. I would have loved to have kept them, but ya gotta be able to buckle them!
