I bought this for my husband to replace his +20 year old TUMI travel kit. I would have preferred a leather one, but did not see any online when I was shopping for it. The ballistic nylon is heavy duty, and the monogram is a nice touch. (I was pleasantly surprised that the monogram was completed so soon after ordering. His prior bag had a front zipper, which was extremely convenient, and is something he misses with this new bag. But, overall he is pleased with it.
