This is the most comfortable shoe I've ever owned. They are my go to shoe for any occasion but especially when I know I'm going to be on my feet all day. They're stylish and and of the highest quality. I've had mine for almost a year now and they just look better and better with wear. I'd say this style runs slightly large so if you're between sizes, go down a size.

These shoes are so great. First, they’re really lightweight. Not sure how that’s the case because they’re not cheaply made and they are (or seem to be) wood and leather. Secondly, they are the most comfortable non-sneakers that I own. I have many pair of free people, Jeffrey Campbell, Frye, and other brands of similarly styled shoes, but these are by far the most comfortable. Overall, definitely worth the price as far as comfort goes. I’ve only worn them a handful of times so I don’t know their durability yet, but I can’t see how that would be a problem as they’re well constructed.

These are great! I bought a size 38 and 39. I'm a size 8, but have very wide feet. The length of the 38 was fine, but found the 39s to be more comfortable for the width. I love them so much, and am already thinking about buying another Fortress of Inca shoe!

My wife is usually an 8.5. I felt the 39 looked a tad small in length, but when comparing it to the 40, my wife said it was the better fit. She loves these shoes and has wanted them for a while now. Construction seems superb.

Fabulous shoes! I branched out from my usual brands (Frye, Born) to try these. I’m pleasantly surprised!!! It’s the perfect camel color for Fall. Super light, comfortable and adorable. I’ll definitely put this brand on my watch list!!!

Awesome comfortable soft will last a long time. Leather body sole and heel. Like slip on boots.

I have a very high arch and could not get my foot in the shoe.
