I liked the look of these boots, but had a really hard time getting my feet into them. I was looking for a quick on-and-off boot and these just didn't work for me.

These are very cute. I ordered the silver and the black to see which I liked better. The black ones appear navy rather than true black, but that might be due to the shiny material. I ordered the size I normally wear in Sorel boots, but am going to exchange for a half size larger and hope that will work--the boot feels roomy and slides a bit at the heel, but the toe area feels tight. Strangely, the black pair felt more true to size than the silver, even though they are the same size. One concern--the sides rub against my legs at the bulky part of the cuff, even with socks and leggings on. I am hoping it won't be a problem once they're broken in, but it was noticeable when trying them on.

They run small and are not black as advertised. They are navy blue.

These really are Navy not black! The way the light reflects on them makes them look navy! I even asked my 6 yr old "What color are these?" and she replied "blue"! I heard you had to order half size up, this is correct. I am normally an 8 and 8 was too small, went for 8.5. However they are so comfortable (flat and not a lot of arch support but I'm ok with that, may not work for others) and warm that I am keeping them. My only issue is they are a little baggy around the ankle but not enough for me to return them.

Wow! These boots are exactly what I’ve been looking for and have wanted for so long. They fit perfectly in my usual size (11) and feel super comfy. They’re not as difficult to get on as other reviews stated. Like any good, warm snow boot, they require a little pulling. But, that’s what the loop is for on the back. No difficulty taking them off either. They’re not slip-ons, so I didn’t expect to slip them on and off. I Love them! And they shipped and arrived super fast!

I took the advice from many reviewers and sized up a half size, to 10. I always wear 9.5 and my feet are just slightly narrower than medium with high arches. I had to work a little to pull them on, barefoot. Once on, there's lots of room inside for my feet. Moderate arch support. I bought the Epic Plum (!) and love the color -- they go with all my down jackets/coats. After shoveling snow recently in Colorado when it was 20 or less, I realized that I needed something like this -- and will wear them in very cold and snowy weather. They seem like they'll have adequate traction. Well padded, good height, and will take light sox, I think. They seem like they'll be quite warm, which is what I want. They DO run short, tho, since the 10s fit me perfectly, and with plenty of room for my toes. If your feet are wider or you're on a size border, do order up at least 1/2 size to start with.

Hi. Really like these boots, but they're more blue than black and run a bit small but not as small as some other sorels. If you're a half size, definitely order up.

The “black” is actually very clearly navy blue. I’m keeping them because they’re comfortable, but I really wanted a true black.

Very disappointed in this boot. I read the reviews and about 30% liked it so I tried. I couldn't even get my foot into the neck of the boot. It was almost like a kid's size. I usually wear a 6 or 6 1/2 . I ordered a 7 (recommended by Zappos too). Construction of this boot is whacky. Stylish but not much good if you can't get your foot in it. I have an old high Sorel snow boot that I love. Just wanted something lightweight.

I absolutely love these shoes! At first they were a little tight to put on but after wearing them a few times it became easier. They are so comfortable and are great winter boots

I bot the red puffy mid pretty boots-are difficult to put on but hoping to work in cas i believe it will b worth it big time! Will b warm and stylish and versatile!

I ordered up a half size based on other reviews and am glad I did. They are a little hard to get on but are surprisingly roomy in the width once on. Wore them for two straight days and had no discomfort at all. They are very warm and keep your feet quite toasty!

These boots from Sorel are exactly what I was looking for. I have an issue with losing feeling in my toes when it’s cold, so I’ve been searching for the right combination of socks and boots to wear in winter, particularly when walking the dog, whether it’s just around the block or on much longer walks. I typically wear a size 8.5, and I ended up sizing up one whole size to 9.5 in these boots, which works well for me. They do appear to run on the small side, especially when trying to slide your foot fully past the shaft into the boot. The size 9 that I originally ordered was too tight across the toe box on my dominate foot, but the 9.5 feels great - with room for me to wear a mid-weight or even a thick thermal sock on days when the temps are below freezing. With thinner socks, my foot does slip around a little, but I’d rather have a slightly larger boot with wiggle room than it being too tight. The foot bed feels like wearing a sneaker with moderate arch support, and the puffy boot shaft keeps my cankles warm. ? The Alpine Tundra color is a grayish green - it can look more gray than green depending on the light. I feel very comfortable walking for several miles in these, and have not had any issues with cold toes since I got them, which is a major win! I am extremely happy with this boot!

Sizing is very tricky on this particular Sorel boot. Once you figure that out, they are pretty good! 90% of the time, I wear a size 7.5. My left foot is slightly bigger than my right, so if a shoe runs small, I need an 8 if I'm wearing thicker socks. I have average width and arch. I started off with a 7.5 and had a hard time getting my heels into the boot. My left foot was extremely difficult to get into. Once they were in, it was a snug fit. I exchanged for the 8 and they were also hard to get into and my toes were up against the front of the boot. Finally, I exchanged for an 8.5 and they fit. I don't have much wiggle room for my toes but I have no problem getting my feet into the boot and they are very comfortable. Almost like wearing slippers. I love that I do not have to tie them. They don't have a lot of ankle support and they are slightly slippery if treading down a snow hill. I wore in 20 degree weather for a few hours at a time. My toes stayed warm enough with ski socks and moderate movement. Sitting still, my toes did get cold. Overall, warm and very comfortable in temperatures over 20 degrees. Nice fabric, water resistant and stylish. It was worth the back and forth because Zappos has amazing customer service and makes returning seamless.

Super cute but they must run small - my normal size 8 are too short.

I tried these in my size and a size larger, but simply cannot get them onto my foot! They look great, but with no zipper or lace opening completely impossible to use.

Beautiful boots, Zappos always nailed it with customer service.. It took not time to get them even in stormy weather. Big shout out for you Zappos. BUT I had a hard time to getting my feet into them. Unfortunately have to returned them.

Super comfy, warm and dry in snow walking. Easy to get in and out of fast with rear pull on loop.
