I am disappointed in the leather. It is a beautifully structured bag. My daughter has a Hammitt bag that has feather soft leather; that bag influenced my purchase. the leather on this bag is not soft. I am a fiber artist; texture is important in my purchases from tee shirts to shoes to bags-of which I tend to never switch out once I love one.

Love the color & style. I thought my Hammit wallet would go in and out of it easily, but it doesn't. The inside lining comes out with the wallet since its not securely attached to inside of purse.

I so wanted this to be the perfect bag. I just got it today and the bag itself is great - exactly what I was expecting. The strap however...pains me. It's not long enough to hit at the hip/upper thigh area when worn crossbody (contrary to the pictures shown with models wearing it that way). I am 5'3" and have the strap extended as far as it will go and it hits at the natural waist when the strap is fully against my neck. It just needs about 3 more inches...wah!!! The strap should also really be double the width, It's flimsy and twists which is probably going to drive me nuts. Overall the strap seems like a cheap afterthought and does not match the look or quality of the bag. Will need to think hard about whether this is a fatal flaw - I'm leaning that direction.

It's great looking but not functional. The strap is thin and weak.

The style of this bag is really nice, and it's a perfect size for everyday use or travel. However, the leather is very rough and poor quality. I was so surprised! I did not like the way this felt when it rubbed against my arm and would not enjoy touching it during use. For this price, I expected much better leather.

I've been using this bag @2 weeks and the strap is coming apart and fraying. Very disappointing considering the price.

I loved the bag; however, my jeans that have been washed over the years still managed to rub off onto the bag turning it blue. Also, the strap is 1/2" and hurts my shoulder. If you want a 1" strap you have to pay an additional $100.00 to order and have it shipped, NOT worth it. Hopefully they can treat fabric, so it doesn't get dirty of other fabric dyes rub onto it. Also, hope they go back to the 1" strap.

Overall I love the purse. The color, quality of the construction and look is perfect. Why I'm giving 2 stars is the flap does not stay down and the magnets aren't strong enough to latch. If it wasn't for that issue it would be 5 stars. I think the stiffness/thickness of the leather is impacting that. I have to wear the purse flap against my body to help hold it down. I own another color in the exact style and it does not do that.

The color is beautiful and the leather is very buttery and soft, but it is lacking in form and it makes it seem a bit cheap. I also did not like the strap. It is too wide (wider than my other VIP's), and not stitched on the edges and it seems like it will fray easily. I purchased this on sale, but I would exchange it if I could.

This new bag immediately absorbed the color from my clothing onto both sides of the bag. Just heart broken as I loved the design of the bag, but I'm so disappointed that the material did this. Unfortunately this has ruined the bag and I'm able to use it again after just one week of wearing it.

I was very excited about this bag. Thought about it for a while. I like the color, the style, the size; however, after only THREE uses it looks peeled, shaved, worn out especially in the corners. It's disappointing. It looks cheap, old and used, after 3 uses. Too much money for something that looks like this, especially after such short period of time. In 6 months it's probably going unusable.

I had my eye on this bag for awhile. I finally bought it in the large size and I love it. However, when I got it the card that came with it said to be careful with denim as it will rub off and turn the bag blue. I was aware, and none of the jeans I have carried it with are new and have been washed multiple times. And my purse is turning blue on the back. I get it, Hammett cautioned about this but I can't carry this purse with denim at all, not even jackets because it wears off on the strap too. I wear jeans ALL.THE.TIME. And now I feel like I can't carry this purse. Just so disappointed. I loved this color but now it's turning blue. I'll never get it again. Should have gotten black. Maybe it would have been better.

I absolutely love the look of this bag. But I had this bag for only few days when my dog rubbed his wet nose against it and left a terrible mark. Reached out to the "we care" department that is supposed to help if the bag is damaged and was told that "Hammitt does not have the capabilities to clean or refurbish leather in-house." Be very careful with your bag if you buy one!

Didn't really like the strap.

This purse is terrible, the leather got filthy in less than a month and no way to clean it. Terrible and definitely not worth the $$

I returned it!!!! Quality versus price was terrible. For a medium size was more like a small. Definitely not what I expected!

Love the bag, strap is super thin and it's all coming apart, should not be happening after owning this bag for such a short period of time. Dora

Very upset about this purchase as the purse had dye transfer on it as well as two water marks!

Not happy with this purchase as the bag had a light blue stain on it as well as two water marks!

Not the color I was expecting and the "buttons" on the puse exactly match the color so they really aren't a feature of the purse. Still love Hammit but disappointed in this purchase. On sale so can't return.

I have a lot of Hammitt bags. Some wear better than others. Having said that, my expectation is that they should last awhile since I am careful with them. Not the case in this instance. I can send a picture if you like.

Cheap material, horrible interior. Broke in 2 weeks. DISAPOINTED

This purse gave me a horrible reaction yo my upper thigh the hair got into my skin and caused a horrible rash bought at dillards won't return don't purchase

Was really disappointed in this, the Seminola color has a weird basket weave pattern on it and looks plastic. Not a cream like in the picture. Bought during clearance and they will not allow me to return. This will go I'm the garbage. No more Hammit for me.

Have 2 other Hammit bags and love them. The quality was superior as always but not the color I was looking for. Wanted grey this was more taupe to me. Will wait till spring for lighter colors as I have a bag almost same color as this..but love their bags
