I have several pairs of Sorels from previous years including two pairs of the Joan of Arc wedge from last year. The new style with the zipper fit smaller in the toe box and larger in the heel. Sadly, I had to return them.

I'm usually a true size 5 however in Sorel brand I ALWAYS wear a size 5.5 and the fit is perfect every time. So if this is your first purchase of Sorel shoes/boots just keep that in mind otherwise these booties are my usual Sorel size of 5.5. I have many of this brand and they have always held up very well and for many years as a well made shoe/bootie would do. I was excited for these to arrive as I love the clean lines and more of a classic always in style bootie yet so streamlined and classy worn dressy or casual. Since receiving these in the mail I have worn them with skinny black and also gray jeans and also with a straight pencil black skirt with black tights. I cannot wait to purchase another pair in the gray! If you love platforms or if you're new to them, these are so comfy since they have the heel height of 3" yet with the front platform feel even less than a 2" heel yet the look and style could even seem less! These booties I feel are just wide enough without being too wide and getting the right size for you will allow to wear both thinner or thicker socks, so remember above and enjoy Sorel brand because they are so in style yet so designed that I have and still wear their styles from many years ago which are still in style!

I am a teacher and I'm on my feet all day.....my feet never hurt after wearing these shoes for over 9 hours a day!

I have purchased several pairs of these Sorel wedges over the years. I am always an 8.5 and these were right on. Leather is comfortable. I don’t foresee much of a break in period. Great wedge for planter fasciitis.

I love these boots! Very comfortable, cute, and most importantly extremely grippy tread on the bottom (I live in Minnesota so I need to be able to walk on the ice). Bought them because I already had the Chelsea boot style from last year which are still going strong.

Yasss, Queen! I have wanted these for what seems like years! I asked for them for Christmas and my birthday over and over. Finally someone gave me the cold hard cash to purchase them and now I am wondering, “What took me so long! Why didn’t I just buy them myself?!” They are comfortable and stylish. They dress up any casual outfit. The hidden wedge is wearable, not too high and not too low. I wear a size 7 normally, but consistently a 6.5 in Sorel brand shoes. With that, they fit true to the brand’s sizing. If you are on the fence, take the plunge. These shoes will be my go to all winter (and cooler days if I can get away with it this summer). Come at me Seattle! Bring on that rain!

Even though the reviews are very positive, I was still skeptical these would truly be comfortable. I rarely find wedges comfortable and am not used to walking with any heel above 1”. I also have plantar fasciitis and my feet always seem to ache no matter what shoes I wear. I purchased 3 other Sorel boots that were cute and well made, but weren't very comfortable. Finally decided to try these and I'm so glad I did. The price is high, (hence my reluctance to purchase) but they are very well made, very stylish and are truly comfortable. I walked around my house in these for3 days and had no achy feet, blisters or pain. I then used outdoors in rain and out and about doing errands for 6+ hours 2 days in a row and still felt comfortable. So happy with this purchase and that I finally have stylish shoes/boots that can hold up to a New England winter. Bonus that they look good with jeans and leggings.

Love these! They are so comfortable. I literally have ordered 15 pairs of shoes at least looking for a black pair of comfortable shoes to wear for work. I wanted to look cute and stylish but be able to run around in them for 8 hrs. These were by far the best. Even though they have a little heel you can definitely wear them all day rain (since they are waterproof ;-) or shine. I have had quite a few compliments on them already. Another plus...they are quiet on the floor since they have rubber soles - a rarity for heels. I liked them so much I ordered them in another color too!

So cute, so stylish, so comfortable! I went a half size up from my normal boot size and the fit is great. Walking around my house, it felt like my heel was slipping a little, but that became unnoticeable throughout the day. Love that it's a heel that doesn't hurt the ball of my foot. That's all I ask for at this point in my life!

I love SOREL Joan of Arctic Wedges. I wore out my last pair of the Chelsea Wedges so I thought I would give these zip wedges a try. Compared to the Chelsea wedges, I think they are a little more narrow in the toe box and hit a little lower on the ankle. The Chelsea wedge is more comfortable in my opinion. That being said, these are still very comfortable for a wedge and I love the zipper detail. They feel very light and do not look or feel clunky at all. These are a perfect bootie for cold and sloppy winters. I have received several compliments on them. I have a relatively wide foot and usually wear a 7.5 or 8. I order these in an 8.

Fit and size seem better than the older style with seams across the toe box. I had to break those in. I am always an 8.5. I ordered an 8.5 and a 9 based on reviews. I stuck with the 8.5. The 9 just gets longer and I don't need length. My foot is wider, but not quite wide enough to need a W size. I purchased the 'sage' suede ones. In the photo the toe is distressed. Mine did not come distressed. It is definitely a taupey, sagey, grey color. Hard to pinpoint depending on the light. Which is what I was hoping for. Excited for my new fall shoes.

Super comfy and fit well, however after wearing for a week the color turned from black to a weird brownish color.

I continue to be blown away at the comfort of the Sorel brand. They enable me to wear something more than a flat without the foot pain and are stylish. This is my second pair in their wedge collection. I originally wanted the classic Joan of Arctic Chelsea wedge and found this option. The cut is comfortable and not cutting into my shin, and the zippers ensure a good fit. I was search of a brown boot and the ash brown color is a great option for those with wardrobes that lean with more blacks/grays.

The shoes was uncomforted, it give me a bruise after wearing them( yes I wear it with socks)

These booties are perfect for someone with foot pain issues that still insists on wearing cute shoes. I’ve had plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendinitis among other issues and these boots don’t aggravate either. They have enough cushion, flexibility and “give” that my feet are comfortable while still being supported. The rubber sole helps with grip but also provides the extra cushion.

The bootie itself is amazing. Color, fit, everything. But that zipper does sound when you walk and it is pretty annoying!! I will be ordering the ones with elastic for sure. I could not imagine having this boots for everyday with that sound!!

These boots are SO CUTE. They are a little tall for me, but I still love them. My heel has a hard time staying in the heel cup so I am adding a stick on product to help with that. I have skinny feet, and I have a hard time finding shoes, but these fit really well.

I have Joan of Arctics in all sorts of styles and colors. They are the best bootie ever. So cute, so comfortable, so awesome. The only downfall (this is downright nit picky) is that the zipper jingles a little when you walk. A little.

I have the original Joan of Arctic Wedge in black and wore them almost every day last winter. I had to have these as soon as I saw them. Love the cute zipper detail but I love MORE how comfy and cute these are for ND winters. These do run small like the others, but only by a half size. I'm typically a 7 and the 7.5 fits perfect.

I have wide, flat feet and mild plantar fasciitis. I typically wear an 8.5 or 9. I bought the Joan of Arctic boots in 8.5, and they fit pretty well. I wish they were a little wider. The sides of my feet felt a little pinched (at the balls of my feet), but I wore them around my house and didn’t experience any discomfort. Even though I liked them, I ended up returning them and getting the Sorel Evie pull-on booties. They have a similar size and fit but are $70 cheaper.

Beautiful boot, but the front comes up so high that it digs into my leg. I'm not sure how anyone could walk in these at the angle they are made.

I adore Sorel boots. I have over a dozen pairs in various styles and colors. I was pleased to see this ‘plain’ sleek style for the upcoming fall/winter season. It is comfortable and will look nice with jeans and leggings or skirts or dresses.i appreciate the versatility of a Sorel. I always wear a 7 1/2 in a shoe and an 8 in a tennis shoe but in a Sorel ... I am always a 7. Their brand does run consistently large. Order down 1/2 a size.

I absolutely love these boots!! I own them in black and brown. I’m usually a size 7.5 but I ordered up so I can wear thicker socks with them since I live in a cold climate. They are great for walking in snow and ice and will keep your feet dry. They are also cute enough to wear to work and keep them on all day because they are so comfortable. Definitely recommend this boot!!

These shoes are great. Waterproof and comfortable. I have a narrow to medium Foot, if i had a wide foot the toe are would be narrow. There’s no stretch. I walked a full day in these on first wear and felt good the entire time. Also walked in rain without an issue

I love these booties! I usually wear short smartwool socks in boots and my regular size (7.5) worked out perfectly with the socks. I'm short, so I love the extra little height that I get from these and the bonus is that they are so comfortable! I have had several surgeries on both feet, so my feet are picky on what they like. I no longer wait for shoes to "break in", they need to be comfortable right away.... these were great right out of the box.
