At almost 50 years old I've gone from size 10.5 to 11 over the last decade and recently underwent nerve repair surgery to the left foot. I walk an average of 11,000 steps over a distance of 5 miles seven days a week according to a wearable GPS. I went with an 11 EE and am pleased with the fit. Boot's like this aren't expected to have a real soft bed and I'm able to add an additional foot pad to get the right support. The soles of these boots are second to none and in terms of traction and stability on snow and ice they're exactly what I was looking for. The tall leather uppers are very comfortable when cinched closed or with with some of the last eyelets skipped if requirements are more casual. After living and working high in the Rocky Mountains for 20 years and wearing Sorel's for the last 4 of those I may have found my new daily favorite.
