I used to have a Timberland size 9.5, which was a little bit loose but still comfortable. my size is usually 9. I ordered 9.5 from this model, it was impossible to get my feet in! . It is very narrow. I hope there was a wide version of it. if you can help, I am looking for the same boot I used to have, or what is the newer version of it. but I can not find it. below is what wrote on it : 9.5M 88580 1595 Genuine leather and manmade upper and lining and outsole U.S. Part No. D475843.

I'm on my feet all day as Deputy and these are too heavy and the fit was incorrect...11 to big..10.5 to small!!

It's looks beautiful but it is so tight. I bought a size 12 although I wear 11.5 yet I could barely get my feet in them. I'll suggest it comes in wide not just medium and also both sides should be expandable rubber not one side zipper.

Bought these to replace an old pair of similar timberlands that developed some incessant squeaking. They were black chelsea boots with both sides having elastic goring. Could just slip them on, went with any outfit, any weather hands down were my favorite pair of boots. Wore them probably 2-3+ days/week for 5 years - hiking, w/ dress clothes, hospital work, snow, beach, and still has good treads. Took them to a cobbler even to see if he could fix the squeaking. Bough these as a replacement. These however had a couple problems. First, they do not slip on. The zipper was repeatedly catching on the internal fabric of the boot, and you need the zipper down pretty much the whole way to put on the boot (I had initially hoped that even if I couldn't slip them on, I could keep them "half zipped" and slip them on). I literally had to spend several minutes pulling the boot off because the zipper was stuck, just so that I could package them up to return. The style of these boots is that they are too wide and stout, less of a dress/casual boot and more like a work boot at best, or an overshoe at worst. Finally, I'm sure they would have gotten more comfortable if I had worn them for 5 years like my previous boots, but fact of the matter is on top of my other issues, these were stiff, and very noticeable/irritating around the shins. Really think putting a zipper on these was a mistake.

The product looks like a beautiful product. Beautiful leather and craftsmanship, but not true to size. Runs at least a full size too big.

I was disappointed as the size runs smaller than expected (I had ordered it on the basis of a different type of Timberland boots I have) and I couldn't even try it on as my foot won't go in. Also, the color on the picture seems beige but the real color is an olive green, so kind of deceiving. Cannot comment about comfort as I could not even try them on.

I wasn't able to put my leg in, got really disappointed in the shoe and on the whole had to return the shoe, OMG returning process is not easy. I had to drop it off at USPS, and did not receive any email of receiving the boots nor any acknowledgement of refund.
