Stylish, lightweight, easy to put on and take off due to side zips, feel true to the size, a little bit tight on the ankles, but I hope they will stretch out.

I ordered these as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend and they were way too big for him. We held them up to all of his other size 13 shoes and they were almost an inch larger. Unfortunately they're sold out in all sizes close so he'll have to choose something else.

I would have probably given this a 4 star rating if I didn't return. They fit a little snug but looked to be a really nice boot. I would move up a half size if I order again.

I didn't have these Kendrick's; I actually have had two pairs of their predecessor (Timberland City Zip). I'm reviewing this particular boot because they have the same outsoles, and that was the issue for me. The boots were AMAZING - comfortable, looked super stylish (got compliments on the loos all the time, and durable uppers and insoles. I could dress them up or down. I could oil them to repel water or get a fresh, clean look. Or I could let them get distressed for a while. They broke in like a dream - it was like wearing slippers around. Rugged enough for ankle support and foot protection, but lightweight - a bit heavier than some tennies. HOWEVER, the soles don't hold up. The material is too soft, so they completely wear away after about 2 years of using 3-4 days a week. There were holes in the bottom of the sole. So I bought 2 pairs in 4 years before deciding I would go elsewhere for something that looked good that would last longer. If they changed the sole to something more durable (Vibram?) I would buy these boots exclusively for the rest of my life as my everyday wear boots.

First, I want to say I have liked the look and feel of Timberland Footwear since I was a kid so much that I introduced my wife to them. With that being said, I haven't found a pair of boots that I could wear since turning 17 and I am 37 years old now. I really wanted to like these boots, the color was fantastic and they have a genuine high end look from afar. I just can't figure out why Timberland does not make wide or 2x wide boots for men (and/or women). It is extremely frustrating to see boots you want to wear but can't because they don't carry a size that fits you well. I am a true to size 8.5 wide or 2x-wide if I wear thicker socks, I ordered the size 9 medium as this was the only thing available, but I have yet to see a pair of boots worth buying that have the size I need on their website. These boots fit so tight on my sides, using standard socks, and I had a decent size gap between my toes and the shoe tip. This leaves me to believe that even if I wear dress socks these boots will be uncomfortable to wear. Additionally, as others have noted, I ordered direct from the site, a size up, hoping that I would get a fresh undamaged pair and for some reason they delivered them scuffed. These pair, like others I received in the past, had no less than 2-major scuffs and a few minor scuffs that look like someone dropped or scraped them before putting them in the box. I currently live in an area with no Timberland Stores and I am forced to buy them online so this is another frustration. This will be my last order and the last time I order anything from Timberland Stores or their online website.

These boots looked great out of the box. Unfortunately, after a week of wear (indoors only), the heels and toes are completely scuffed and scratched. Within the first week they have become unwearable as a "nice" shoe. Too bad, I usually really like Timberland products.

Brought these for my 14yr old son and the first day he wore them to school, omg I thought he ran a race for 10, 000 thousand miles, they scuff really easy and they look like he had them for years. He's not hard on shoes AT ALL. But how they look so old so quick is not good. Will not recommend them if your kids are hard on shoes
I'd also recommend:

Shoes are stylish and fit like a globe. Pull on tab detached the third time I wore my shoes. When I went to the Timberland store they said I would have to fill out a warranty form and return my shoes, poor customer service when they had the shoes at the store in stock and could have been easily swapped for an in store exchange. Disappointed in the quality and warranty policy.

I bought these as a replacement for my Earthkeepers boots that I have been wearing for almost 9 years. I was expecting a similar quality of shoe, soft and well-cushioned leather with a good fit. This pair of boots is a disappointment. I have been wearing it only four times now, and as others observed, it scuffs and creases very easily, as if the leather was treated just superficially. The second time I wore it for work (with socks, in case you wonder), I realized two bloody bruises on my ankles. The leather in that area is stiff and not padded (like it was in the past, at least with my other pair). These are things you only notice by wearing them, but then it's too late to send them back. Not a quality boot.

I own the previous version of these boots and love them, which is why I just wanted a newer pair, but this updated version with the elastic band that keeps the two zippered halves together is a major design flaw. The elastic bunches up in a way that digs into my ankle, on both feet and is just not comfortable in any way, shape or form.

I really wanted to like this boots. They had many scratches when I got them and they recommend me some product which made the look worst. Went back and forth with customer service to end up with a mediocre product. This was my first pair and I'm not sure if I would buy another one. Based on the price I expected better from Timberland, I guess I will stick to the other brands.

I ordered these same boots two years ago. About a month in, the left heel strap broke. I was disappointed in the sturdiness of the boots but I sighed and moved on. I wore those boots 4-5 days a week for two years and they worked great. So, when it came time to retire them, I ordered the same type. Now, a month in, guess what? The left heel strap broke! I've never had this problem with another pair of boots and I wasn't pulling on them hard. I like the boots. They fit well, are comfortable, and look good. But this is so disappointing to be burned on the same issue twice.

As with another pair of shoes I ordered, this sizing was super off. I lined up the inches on the size chart with two other pairs of Tims I have (one ordered in 2014, one ordered in 2018) and this shoe was so massive compared to them. Easily a full size too large, Will be returning. See pictures for how much larger it is than my previous pair, which matched up exactly on the size chart.

It's a beautiful boots. That's why I gave it 2 stars and also it has a zipper on the side that makes it very easy to put on. But I returned the boots because it has a defect in the insole and didn't want to risk ordering another one and get the same problem.

Very low quality boot, especially from Timberland. It easily scuffs, not something you want to see out of a boot that costs this much money. I have had a lot of difficulties with this pair of boots and the order. I highly recommend spending less money on a similar boot. Also, the brown color is much more red than the pictures show.

After wearing these for two weeks I started to get serious nerve pain in my foot that's lasted for over a week now. The boot is way too narrow. I always wear a regular size 9, but these feel as if they have crushed my foot. It doesn't seem like there is any hope in breaking them in either. Unable to exchange due to their poor policy =(

Really disappointing...I love the look of the boots so I bought them. They came 3 days later. First time on, hardly pulled on the heel pull and it came right out...wft! I would have hoped for better quality with the money spent. Didn't take any pics, returned them....
