I was hesitant to buy with only one review, but I liked the look of the boot. They are probably the best boots I've owned for the purpose I had in mind. I wanted a warm, lightweight boot for daily walks - they are so comfortable and I can wear them barefoot and my feet stay warm and I live in Minnesota! Super cozy - the padding makes even long walks easy. Highly recommend!

I was hesitant because the price was so low, but was very pleasantly surprised! Should of known since they are of course a Sorel product.I first ordered in an 8 ( should of known better) . I wear a 7.5 in the Chelsea and an 8 in the Lexie. If you plan on having your feet keep warm, you need space. There is ample insulation, they are lightweight and well made, so I reordered the 9 ,it wasn't available and I purchased the 9.5. I am keeping ,but I'm sure the 9 would of been it. My purpose for these boots is totally outdoor recreation in the snow! I can absolutely add a medium weight wool sock and be good to go in our Vermont winters! I definitely recommend.

Quality product. Really love these boots and do great in slippery icy conditions.

Sturdy, warm, great for hiking on the snow. Stylish and understated

I spent a few weeks looking for a good winter boot. Read many reviews and decided on these. Had our first storm and they are perfect! I did get a size bigger as it mentioned they run small and glad I did. I normally wear an 8 I got a 9 and again, fit great. Feet stayed dry in 6" of snow!

Beautiful boots, well made and warm. Excellent price. There were a bit snug and I went up half a size because with winter boots you need heavier socks. In the end I had to go up a full size!!!!

Warm, comfy and helpful in snow

I was searching for a walking/shoveling snow boot, and this is great! No break-in needed. I hiked around for a few miles in snow, slush, ice, mud and was happy! Light weight and easy to cinch up. I am between sizes 8.5-9 and ordered a 9. I have narrow feet, wear light wool socks and am happy with the fit.

I recently bought these to replace the previous version of the Cumberland boot that I've been wearing daily in the winter for the past four years. The insulation and thick lining of the these boots make heavy winter socks unnecessary. I wear unpadded, wool street socks and the boots fit true to size. For -0 F. days, add toe warmers and they're perfect. The new styling and quality of these boots is, however, disappointing. While the added height is welcome, the lacing hardware is flimsy and not as well attached as on my previous boots and the functional "knob" on the back of the heel has been eliminated, which makes the attachment of ice cleats and snowshoe straps less secure. The boots also don't mold as well around the heel, so there is a lot more up and down heel movement when walking. Overall, these are lightweight, toasty boots and hopefully design issues can be remedied in the future.

You will slip and fall with these on any ice, not good!
