This jacket is perfect for young kids and toddlers on the go. I feel comfortable strapping my son into his car seat in this jacket because it's that lightweight. However, it keeps him perfectly warm while playing in the Midwestern snow and cold. I would also be remiss if I didn't mention how easily it cleans in the wash and hold up against a very active kid.

I bought this coat for my grandson who is three. I purchased a 4T and it fits him perfectly. It's loose enough - not too snug. He will be able to wear it this year and the beginning of next winter too. It's a beautiful coat! Comfortable and not too bulky for safety in the car seat. I bought a Columbia last year too and will buy one every year from now on.

It's a nice jacket. Fits true to size, so if you want it to last more than one year, buy a size bigger.

I bought this for my 3-year old for next winter because he's getting a little big for his current coat. He was so excited about it that he immediately put it on and went outside to play even though it was 60. My son is particular about what he's willing to wear so I take this excitement as high praise for the jacket. It's very light but looks like it will be warm.

Lovely jacket. Expensive, yes. But I can't fault the design and workman ship. I like that the cuffs are not too tight so little fingers don't get bent backward as I push his hands through the sleeves. Also it's not too bulky for him to move around and climb on stuff while wearing it

I bought 4T for my 2yo boy, he is 37inches and 31lbs. Normally he wears 3T but he need more layers during winter so I size up.

We have Columbia jackets with this same technology in adult sizes and have kept warm & dry in -9 degrees at ice sculpture festival in Anchorage while eating ice cream! Lightweight, but incredibly warm & easy to move around. If you love snow and snow activities/sports these Columbia jackets with this incredible technology is worth every penny! A must have item for comfort, warmth & safety during your winter season!
