Unfortunately, the place where the leather meets the rubber was not at all smooth -- it jutted out and poked hard at my ankles. (The left boot was tolerable, but the right boot really hurt.) However, it did feel like a very sturdy boot, so I could see myself buying one of the wool or nylon versions, as I'm sure they'll be softer than the hard leather.

Liked them so much I came back for a 2nd pair! Not the only Sperry saltwater boots I have, as I find them comfortable and useful in wet Fall weather. This pair in navy bottom will be good with jeans; previously tried the blue pair in Nubuck w/the blue pearl foot - sent those back for these (too old for pearly bottoms!). Nice sole, non-slip, 2 eyelet is just the right height.

These are really cute but my usual size of 7.5 was too large and wide. Maybe the pair that I received was an anomaly, but I could feel a horizontal ridge where the rubber meets the leather. I could only surmise that this could become uncomfortable after hours of wear. I have many pairs of Sperry and this my first less than perfect pair; I still love the brand.

Love these boots! Wore them for a full rainy day right out of the box . My feet stayed dry and never hurt. The 2 eyelet height was perfect with bootcut jeans. I'm over 65 and just can't do the skinny jean leg thing. I was worried that they might feel like the rubber boots I wear when weed-eating or working in the garden, but they don't and look so much better!

I tried (and returned) a lot of other, cheaper duck boots before getting these and i will be keeping them! I don’t need much for southern winters, but these will keep me dry in the rain, and the bit of extra room they offer will allow me to add thick socks. Happy to have these!

Previously purchased & reviewed the same boot with the "pearly" foot, in blue. Decided to return those & got these instead, both size 8 fit well, comfortable (esp. height-wise, as I hav e other Sperry boots which are higher). The toe area in these boots is great for my wide foot without having the heel area slip; I maybe could go with an 8.5 but then I'd have to wear a heavy sock each time I wear them; a medium sock works well in the size 8. Decided the "pearly" look is for a younger person, though I loved the blue pair.

I usually wear a 7 or 7.5. i went with a 7.5 because I intended to wear as snow boots with heavy socks. i could have gone with the 7 and still wore heavy socks, but kept the 7.5. I wore these on a 4 mile hike in packed snow that was beginning to melt. My feet stayed dry and warm. Traction was very good. The boots felt light and my achilles tendons did not hurt the next day. These are also cute. Cute, functional, and comfort! What more can a girl want?!

Overall, this is a great waterproof boot and I am glad I purchased it. Very cute and functional. I do, however, feel that it runs a little on the large side. I am typically an 8.5 and find this size to be a little big. I also replaced the laces with a more traditional looking duck boot lace. The ones that came with it were a little bulky.

These boots are cute and comfortable. Unfortunately they were hard for me to put on, as they can't just be slipped on. The rubber is not strong enough to hold up to pushing your foot in. Once on, the laces didn't tighten the boot a lot. They do not have much lining for warmth either. I am returning them and trying the Sperry maritime instead, hoping they will be warmer and easier to put on.

These boots are worth every penny! My feet are warm and dry, enough room to add a thermal pair of socks and not have them be too tight.

I love these Sperry duck boots... I ordered a size 8.5 the first time because I was basically going on the reviews saying that they were true to size... Well as for me that didn’t quite work because they were too big and too wide... so I ordered a size 8... they were still a bit too big and too wide but I didn’t want to keep sending them back so I kept them... but other than that I have no complaints... I love the style and comfort of the boots...

I love this boot... The first pair I ordered based on reviews saying it was true to size... With me it was not true to size I ordered a size 8.5 it was too big and too wide... so I ordered a size 8 and it fit better but still a bit wide and actually think I could use a 7.5 but I was afraid to send them back??... because I wasn’t sure if it would fit small/short... I was tempted but elected not to send them back... I do think if I get another pair I would try sizing down...I love the look and the style... I am satisfied with my purchase...

I bought these as a Christmas gift for my mother. She loves them! Easy on and off. Originally bought the 4 eye Saltwater. Could not get foot into them, due to a very high arch. Returned with no problem!! Thanks to Zappos easy return policy. This pair is a hit for her! Love the Sperry brand. Could not beat the price! Perfect gift!

Loving the color and they feel great. Very true to size in my case. If you like thick socks go a half size up. I’m a true 9.5 and that is what I ordered. I’m very happy for this purchase. Of course, Zappo’s shipping was fast and easy!

This was exactly what I was looking for in a rain boot because of its comfort, style, and purpose. I walk into work and on rainy or wet days this is what I will be wearing!

They’re comfy and keep my feet dry (and warm with the right socks), I didn’t want the high tips and these are perfect—and they were on sale!

I was hesitant to buy these online but the sale was too good to pass up and it was definitely worth it! These boots are true to size with even a little bit of room for thicker socks if desired. Comfortable and stylish!
