This coat is perfect for spring/fall and warmer winter days in the northeast. It's lightweight and packable and is ideal for use with car seat. The purple/rainbow design is perfect for 5 year-old - she selected this from website herself. I would buy again.

I love this jacket for my son. It holds up well to abuse by a 5 year old. It is lightweight enough to fit nicely in a car seat but also warm enough to wear all winter. It can also be layered under a shell for really cold days.

My daughter uses this jacket every day.

Perfect for my 2.5 yo. Very warm even though light weight and easy to layer underneath it. Easy to wash, great quality, always impressed with North Face coats! Can not recommend more for a toddler during the cold months especially with living in Cleveland.

I have this item stocked up on every size. You would need another layer inside if you were to stay out in the cold. But I usually dress my kids in thin sweater shirt with the jacket over for car rides during winter. Gives me a peace of mind knowing my kids are safe in them.

We live in Montana and this jacket is perfect for layers underneath as well as still being able to put other jackets over it. Love this jacket!!

Bought this coat & matching boots for my grandson. My daughter has 2 yr. old twins so I got them matching sets.

Got this for my active toddler. Comfortable and warm. Though, I wouldn't want her to play outside in the snow with this jacket or be out in subzero weather. It definitely is best for that in-between weather, like fall through the beginning of Ohio winter. It's very lightweight and not bulky at all. The fit is very nice.

My kiddo loves this jacket! It's easy to put on and zip up, and she is able to wear it and fit in the car seat as well. It washes well and dries easily, and is an absolute must have for a little girl that loves pink!

This jacket is get for a variety of weather - keeps my toddler cool in warmer weather and warm in cooler weather. Definitely not warm enough for NYC winter days but a great fall jacket. I recommend it!
