I don't know how on earth to break these in without getting blisters!!! Also a little disappointed for I JUST received them this week and NOW Sperry is offering free shoe conditioner (leather) with any sneaker purchase. Just a bit bummed. I'm afraid to wear without socks and that's how I wanted to wear them. I don't know if I should return them and seek out another brand like Taos or CeeVees.... :(

This shoe looks really nice but is too stiff. Kind of uncomfortable, I'm hoping that after a few wears it will loosen up and feel more comfy.

The shoes are cute but they rub the back of my heel/ankle. I don't think I can even try to break them in. I've worn them a handful of times and they just hurt too bad. I wish they were like my older pair that was a softer leather and never rubbed. Can we please go back to those Sperry?! I loved that pair.

I so wanted to love these. They look great and fit is good. I've only worn them once so far but can I just say "ouch." They are extremely stiff and slip up and down on your heel so badly you can forget about wearing a sock. The tongue is also very stiff and cuts into the front of your ankle. I'm hoping they are just requiring a break-in period, but it is not going to be easy.

I usually love my Sperry's, but these are faulty. First, the tongue is way too long and it gauges your ankles. Also, the ties unravel after a few wearings. Very disappointed in these

I thought these were just a leather version of the super comfy canvas Sperry slip-on sneakers I already have. Nope. Cork insoles, not a lot of cushion, different fit. Might be great for others, but I need lots of cushion. Returned.

I have many pair of Sperrys, but canvas, the leather was too stiff and tight, I had to return. I feel they are a totally different fit from the canvas!

I ordered these and received them with free shopping after only a couple days. Super impressed with the quick delivery but when I opened them there was strange yellowing around the stitching. They are also laced so tight that they are almost impossible to get on unless you have a very narrow foot. Super disappointed, and now I have to ship them back to get a refund.

Nice looking shoe but runs extremely small and is extremely stiff!!! I'm an 8 and ordered an 8.5 and they don't fit!

I love love these but I bought my pair only 3 years ago and the fabric had already are torn on both of them. My Sperry boat shoes are very good and I have had them for very long time with no problem. So I was disappointed in these.

Cute shoe but I couldn't even get my feet into the shoes. I didn't reorder a new size as I didn't know what size I would need; that's how bad the fit was. Also, the leather was very stiff and had no give.

Sorry should have said this shoe runs smaller than actual size. I wore these about 3 hours to a dr visit , got blisters and was so uncomfortable. Can't return because I threw box out and mainly because I wore them. Hate this shoe

Based on reviews I read I ordered one size larger than my usual size. I couldn't get my foot in the shoes because they were to tight. I tried them on in the am so my feet would not be swollen.

First time buying shoes that cause blisters and bleeding and yes it is a size up and still very uncomfortable.

These have been my go to shoes for several years (several pair) I love them! but, they changed !? Why!!? The leather is now stiff and uncomfortable, especially at the top of the foot (the tongue) So sad, they no longer work for me!!

I own more than 10 pairs of Sperrys. I love this brand and they usually fit well. Unfortunately, the back of this particular shoe hits my ankle in a horrible spot, and causes blisters/blood every time I wear them. We tried altering the material, adding cushioning, etc. Nothing worked. I can no longer wear them.

The runner is a stiff leather and the tab at the back is higher than the back portion and is very stiff. Rubs against the back of the ankle. I have other runners from Sperry but they have changed the style not in a good way. Due to the stiffness of the leather and the higher cut they are NOT a slip on runner

I wish I bought a casual canvas sneaker. I tried to wear these twice with your no-show socks and I was wincing the whole time. I also tried without socks..... So incredibly disappointed. They hurt. Can't break them in and I'm not about to try to stand in a tub filled with salt water to mold them .... I can't afford a canvas pair and forget returning them with this pandemic. I was so looking forward to these for my sister has a sailboat in NH.... I made a bad decision purchasing these.
