I would buy this nice support ,not hard very smooth

I wore this as a slip under a dress for my son's graduation. It didn't slim the waist area much but was very comfortable throughout the hot day. I liked the length of the shorts because it helped to prevent chaffing when walking around so much.

Very well made and comfortable for a garment that controls. I was very surprised that I did not feel constraint.

these were compfy under a dress but as a petite person it would be nice to have the legs shorter. i kept cool in the heat. the bands dont curl. it does give a smooth appearance but doesn't provide much tummy control if any.

I had those for years and loved them because they're light, cool & smooth. But the latest ones I got a few weeks ago started falling apart after only 1 and 2 washes, with the rubbery top band, that's supposed to be holding the pants up, coming out it from between the fabric on bits and pieces. I'm so disappointed since o otherwise love these.

They fit well, but you can't wear them with any leggings or tight pants because the seam at the thigh is very obvious.

I ordered 3 pairs because I had a pair in the past and they were wonderful but but the 3 pairs were nothing like unlike the previous one that I Purchased. I ordered a small As I did previously and this time the small fit me like almost a large the large too too big. So now I have 3 repair that I really can't wear so I have to give them away.

Not as firm as the ones I've had for years which I can't find anymore!

It fits nice under clothes great slick material but i was really looking for a replacement of a sweet nothing one I've had for years. My older one has more support. I will still use it but for me it needs a bit more support in belly area then it would be perfect. You want comfort and support. I wish they still made the one I have.

Very tight and don't like the bands on the leg hem.

The quality is great, but not what I thought it would be, As it stands the attached panty rolls away from the slimmer making it uncomfortable.

Have not been able to use this item. Unfortunately for my skin..it's too warm. I can only wear cotton.

The Maidenform Thigh Slimmer did a good job of smoothing in that it could not be seen under clothing. However, I would have liked it to have more support regarding the slimming effect.

I received the Maidenform Cover your Bases Smoothing Thigh Slimmer as a sample to try. I wore it several times and was satisfied with the tightness on the legs, but was disappointed with the tightness around my abdomen. I guess I assumed that it was a slimmer, it would not just be tight around my legs. I do like that it is firm but not suffocating tight around my legs - it is just right. However, it is way too loose on my mid-section. This kind of defeats the purpose of wearing a slimming garment. I would recommend keeping the tightness on the legs and adding the same tightness around the body. This would make it a better product. Also, I requested a medium because I do not like things too tight. Again, it was perfect around the legs (I wear size small on all my pants/shorts/etc.), so a small would have been too tight on my legs. Around my body, I think even a small would have felt too loose.

I chose this product to test and review because I thought it would fill a need that I have for a little extra support when wearing more fitting dresses and slacks.. Although the garment is quite comfortable and does not ride up your legs at all while it is being worn, it really doesn't provide any appreciable level of slimming. But it was a great alternative to a slip under a shift style dress because it stayed it place and kept the dress from sticking to my legs.

Maidenform smoothing Thigh Slimmer is a good product but I should have ordered the next size up.

The upper section rolls down as soon as you move no matter how high or low I had it. The shorts went almost to my knees and were very long and because of the thigh slimming you can't pull them up higher unless you want awkward squeezing and a not good look.

Too short in the leg to be a thigh slimmer and then it just kept bunching up. Not happy with this purchase.

The product didn't do what I expected. It rolls over my legs. The waistline is so hard. Nop. Didn't love the product

These are not tight enough. I really like style #2355 but I cannot find them anywhere so I guess they are discontinued.

Waist band rolls and rolls and rolls. Then they placed the seam down the back so constantly pulling it out. The only thing done right was the crotch panel. At least not pulling seam out of that area. Not all women wear thongs nor want the feeling of string running up the backside.

These thigh slimmers might work under a full skirt but the fabric, while breathable and soft, sticks to the outer garment causing it to hang crooked or even(after only a little walking) spin it around so the side seams are in the front and back. That wouldn't be so bad if you could just spin it around and put them in place but they are stuck to the outer garment and won't slide. Had to make several trips to the rr to pull the skirt up and put the front in front again. What a pain!

This is very lightweight and does somewhat slim. The leg part stays down (does not roll up as others do). The attached panty is a bit odd and I feel like I have a wedgy 10 minutes after wearing it. I was looking for more control so I will not be buying anymore of this item.

The material is soft and the built-in panty is great. It also fit really well and was keeping everything in comfortably - I thought it looked great and it looked like there was a smooth transition from the slimmer to my bare leg but then I put on my (cotton) capris (not tight fitting) and there was a VERY noticeable line where the slimmer ended on my legs. It looked like horizontal press marks on the capris. I tried them under dress pants, jeans and a skirt and had mostly the same results.
