I ordered 10 pairs of waterproof shoes and this pair was the only one that fit and I kept...thank you Zappos for being so easy to work with when one has a difficult foot to fit as i do! I have a need for a wide toe box but also have a very narrow heel. I work outside and need a waterproof shoe for this purpose - I'm not a hiker, just need a comfortable shoe that fits. The fit is true to size. However, something about the styling of this shoe makes it appear longer than other shoes. If you have a large foot (I wear an 8 typically) then this shoe could possibly appear quite long - otherwise the styling and fit are fine for me.

Waterproof shoe search 2019 is finally over! After receiving and returning about 6 pairs of shoes - I finally found the shoe that is right for me! Teva Arrowood Venture Waterproof. It's light, easy to put on, wears well with socks AND is 100% waterproof. I have the "Black" color, which has a rich burgundy undertone on the upper. The leather part of the upper is also stylish. The tongue does come all the way to the bend of my foot to my shin, but I like that - the shoe gives full support all the way around, it hugs your foot and feels very supportive (kind of like a great bra). I wore them all weekend on a trip to Portland and it rained the entire time. We walked hills, and through a lot of wet leaves, never did I feel taht I did not have enough traction. Great shoe with a generous toe box (essential for me) and a nice hug on the heel (also essential for me). Highly recommend.

I bought a pair of Teva boots a year ago and they are now my "go to" shoes for walking, hiking and even going out at night. I needed new sneakers so ordered this style in the same size as my boots. However the sneakers were a bit too small. Re-ordered in a half size larger and they fit perfectly. I would definitely buy again, however these look as if they are of better quality than most of my other sneakers, even those that were more expensive-- so they likely will last me for quite a while.

I loved the brown shoes in the picture but when they arrived the colors were less vibrant and really sort of muddy in color so I returned them. As far as fit and comfort they were just fine.

Overall the shoe fit well, except the tongue was a good 1/2 inch longer than the Sugarpine II. This meant I could feel the front edge of the tongue pressing into the crease of my ankle as I walked. Definitely not a plus. Returning them in favor of the Sugarpine II. The style definitely is not as nice as the old Ahnus. These are definitely more "masculine" looking, muddy colors, and "hiking" shoe vs something that could look good everyday and also go hiking. I miss Ahnu. Very sad Teva is messing with my favorite shoe and not really to the better, except I do like the slightly wider toe box. I'm also not fan of the meshy upper fabric. I liked the older more solid type fabric that Ahnus used a few years ago when I bought my previous pair. I've literally worn them to shreds. Wish I'd bought my new pair sooner before the merger.

Nice looking shoe for the purpose, true to size, and very comfortable footbed with good support. But the area around the ankle is overly bulky (too padded) and stiff, especially in front where the laces tie. That's a shame because the inside of the shoe is really comfortable. Sorry to send these back but this level of ankle "support" seems unnecessary in a low cut shoe. If I'd wanted that, I would have ordered a pair of low boots not a regular shoe.

I’m a 6.5 and I have a narrow foot. These fit TTS. The light blue material has a woven texture. The first time wearing them, I went on a 4 mile hike in Tahoe and they were very comfortable. I stepped in like 2 inches of water and the water did not get in. Love the color!

These were almost perfect for me! Cushioning in the foot bed and arch support were ideal. The toe box was wide enough for my (slightly) wide foot and narrow enough for my (slightly) narrow heel so there was no slippage! The sole was flexible enough I wouldn't feel like Frankenstein tromping through the woods. Yay! And then the rub... literally. The way the tongue is designed it pushed into the front of my ankle and was creating a raw spot. I asked Zappos if the tongue would soften up/break in, and was told it would... but at this price point I was nervous. So I tried the high-top/bootie version of these and YES. All the good things of the low version, without the tongue problem! So while I'm returning these, I am most definitely keeping the others! Hope this helps someone else!

This is my 3rd pair of these shoes. Tevas are always comfortable right out of the box. Waterproofing lasts much longer than most waterproof shoes. I walk dogs in the woods and through fields every day of the year and my feet stay dry. Highly recommend!

I'm on my 4th pair and they are just as great as when I started buying them a few years ago. I own two pairs right now and I keep an old pair for working in the yard. The color I just bought is Stormy Weather...nice, neutral color that goes well with lots of colors. I also have the black which I purchased earlier this year. I have problems with my feet and these work perfectly for me. They are comfortable right out of the box...no break in period. I'm on my feet with the job I have and they provide adequate support. I love that Teva doesn't change the design and overjoyed that they came out with a neutral color. Keep up the good work Teva!

These are, by far, the most comfortable shoes I own. I've worn them on two international vacations where we did a lot of walking. They are the only shoes that completely eliminate all my foot pain.

I teach at a local college so I am constantly on my feet. What I like about these shoes is that they are roomy enough for me to put in my customized orthotics for plantar faciitis. I have placed an order for another pair in a different color.

The reason why the comfort on these shoes is low is because I took a risk and hoped for a size 10. 11s are too big and unfortunately Teva does not make a 10.5. Too bad. Otherwise very stylish and would have likely been a great walking shoe for city and country settings.

I wear a size 9 in Ahnu shoes and usually a 10 in running shoes. The 9.5 worked well for me. The shoes are appropriately stylish (in between a casual street shoe and a running shoe). The wine color is attractive, a little more muted than in the picture. Unfortunately, they won't be comfortable for me when walking. The lacing on the shoe does not come down as far on the foot as on many shoes. When my foot bends, the mesh on the toe significantly bends as well, and pushes into my foot at the top of my toes. Otherwise I would have kept these.

I'm a dog walker and I have tried out so many day hikers and these are the best I have found so far! Tried them out on a wet and steep hike and they kept fantastic grip while giving me amazing comfort! Some size tens fit too big or too small and for me these are just perfect giving me the stability I need but also room for my feet to move! Highly recommend and will be getting another pair when they come available!

I'm really liking these shoes so far. I've been wearing them at work pretty much everyday and my feet feel great. Very waterproof too, there's a lot of deep puddles at work because the drains are placed wrong in the concrete floors, these keep my feet dry no problem. They are decently breathable for a waterproof shoe and the area around the ankle is low enough that is doesn't rub my ankles or restrict movement at all. They have the sturdy feel of a boot, without the bulk. They definitely took a few days to break in though, I usually buy very flexible shoes and theses took a minute to get used to because they are stiffer. They have become more bendable and comfortable the more I wear them. I feel that they run true to size. The toe box has so much room too! They are my new favorite shoes; hopefully they last a while. They seem like they will, and if they do I will definitely buy more of them.

I really like the Arrowood shoe, especially for winter weather. It's waterproof which is great. I have 5 pairs of the boot style and 3 of this standard shoe style which should tell you how I feel about it!! The color of this shoe wasn't what the picture looked like but I like it anyway.

Love these sneakers. I ordered 1/2 size bigger due to wearing heavier socks but they were slightly big but perfect when I added a shoe orthotic insert. They look great feel great and my main purpose for ordering was they are waterproof and they are! Would definitely order another color.

I bought these shoes to go on my hiking/camping trip in Wisconsin and Michigan. They turned out to be a great purchase and have proven to be easy to slip on and off to throw out the garbage. They are waterproof, after being caught in a couple of storms and walking through dewy grass, my feet stayed dry! I love the lower profile of the shoe, the colors are perfect, as in being more earthy in tone. I highly recommend these shoes. It did take a few full days of wearing with socks to be able to wear without socks and not get a blister on my ankle and the back of my heel which only happened on one foot.

I purchased these because they are stylish and advertised as waterproof. They are very comfortable right out of the box and with wet grass in the morning seem waterproof. Waiting to wear them in wetter conditions
