Not waterproof at all. My daughter ran through wet grass (not even in a puddle) and her socks got all wet. Then on another date she walked through a small puddle (maybe about 1inch) and again/ socks soaked.

I bought these in September and there was one rainy day in October that I noticed her feet were wet when I picked her up from preschool but I though perhaps she had taken off her boots at some point. Then this Tuesday, there was very heavy rain and her feet were again soaked. She was wearing a rain suit on top of the boots so I'm sure it didn't come in from the top. Today (Thursday) the boots were still damp inside. I'm super annoyed since these are so expensive. These may be fine for running around when it's raining a little bit but I certainly wouldn't describe them as 100% waterproof.

Two reasons why I returned these boots for my twin boys, #1 the hole where the strap is allowed their feet to get cold. #2 the sides collapsed when they walked there was no ankle support. I loved the colors and they look comfortable on the soles though.

These are cute and easy to get on and off and there are other good things about them--but bottom line, they aren't at all waterproof and that was why we bought them. After five minutes in puddles, they were soaking wet. I appreciate that they're not rubber and so they get soaked--but soaked through, so that his socks are wet, after five minutes? Really? At least call them water resistant.

I have bogs myself and my big kids too and we love them, and I gave a try to these ones for my 20 months old daugther, but they don't have any heel suppport, when she is running her heel goes from side to side outside the shoe's soles. The shoe material is too soft and doesn't support right.
