My son loves this jacket. It's light, and the level of insulation is great. He proved it in the snowstorm that just came. The temperatures were rally low outside, and he didn't feel the cold penetrating him.

Looks perfect and fit my 6yr old well. It is light weight but very warm, the bright colors are a welcome change; much needed one from monotonous blues n greys.

Great quality coat. Warm and a great fit. I recommend it.

I bought this same jacket for my daughter last year and she loved it. She outgrew it and wanted the same jacket but in all black so I ordered her the boys jacket and she loved it even more. It's a nice lightweight jacket, not bulky at all. And it keeps her warm.

Fit great for my 10 year old son. He loves that it's lightweight and warm. He hates thick coats. I like that he will wear it and not complain about it being too fluffy.

9/10 stars- warm, well fitting, easy for a kid to zip. The only downfall is there is no external hand pocket closures. So they get filled with snow if your don't have a shell.

Perfect for fall and early winter. My son even wore it skiing, and I think it would be fine for 20-degree-plus days but not below that. I consistently love Columbia clothing and footwear.

Great jacket to use commuting to and from school. I bought small size for my 5 year old son (he is almost 6) to have him be able to grow into it, and it fits perfectly. He's a picky kid on what he likes so I was happy to find him something he is happy with. Love that he can get so much warmth with so little bulk.

Love the look. To me it's more of a dark charcoal instead of black.

Bought this for my 6 yr old son. It's warm and soft and the length is perfect. Can wear it alone due to how warm it is or with his coat on the really bad days as him and his other 2 brother's have to walk to school. Do not need to bundle up much which is a good thing.

Bought this for my 7 yr old son. He was excited about it keeping him warm and how soft it is. The length is perfect. He also can wear it by itself or with his coat. I also sized up with his jacket as well as I want him to get some use out of it. Don't usually purchase jackets that cost this much but glad I did.

Bought size medium for my almost-10 yo. It's lightweight but warm. Has some room for underlayers too. We have a lot of Columbia clothes for him and they are always good quality.

I bought this for my son to last two winters and it held up great. Winters are in the teens to 30s where we leave. Sometimes in the single digits. He never complained of being cold. Definitely going to buy this coat again for this winter.
