I liked the pretty caramel color, the rugged sole, and the height and width of the boot shaft. I liked the nubuck texture, but the leather felt a little stiff and cheap. The ankles were weirdly wide from front to back, as others have mentioned elsewhere, but I don't think that would've been a deal-breaker. For me, the issue was that the foot area was cut very narrowly. Since I don't normally wear a wide shoe, that was unexpected. They were so tight and uncomfortable, they're going back.

The overall foot size was accurate, my problem was the calf circumference was not. I wear a size-8 show, but I have large calf muscles. I read the specs that said the calf circumference was 16 so I ordered an 8, but I still couldn't zip them all the way up. It was a crushing blow because I really loved the style, so I had to return them.
