the pants are very comfortable and allow you too move with ease. great for walking in cool and very cold weather. I wear them for curling and they keep me very warm.

I love all of the high-rise models. They are both very comfortable and utilitarian. I bought this pair of specifically to wear as a base layer for snowboarding and winter hiking or running.

I run outside all winter long and these pants are great for colder runs (around 30F to 45F degrees; colder and I wear an under layer). This is my second pair!

Use these tights for winter running

Super soft on the inside and so nice looking on the ski trails. I love the color too. The top does not roll and they stay up on my waist during my ski trek. Love these.

Works great for Minnesota winters. They are my go to for 20 degree and under workouts.

Perfect warmth and weight and makes me feel soooo great !! Wish they were solid colors but they so great I bought a second pair

I'm 5'3", 136 pounds, slim hips. Medium regular fits great - not tight- love pockets! Taupe Green color was better than expected- I went back and bought a jacket in same color. Not olive. Plan to wear them under rain pants for today's winter rain in Washington trip.

Comfy, warm, and practical. My fave feature is the high waist with drawstring... not too tight at the waist but secure enough to ensure leggings stay put while moving. Very comfortable for everything from lounging to running.

I absolutely love to run, however I live in MN and the cold temps have kept me from running outdoor, but now!!! I can run! I am so thrilled!

I wore these almost everyday on our trip to Alaska. They are perfect for cold weather activities. I just wore a thin pair of waterproof pants over them. We are going to Montana in the winter so I just bought another pair. My only complaint is the stitching started to unravel in several different areas along the waist and ankle so I had to pull out my needle & thread.

I bought 3 pairs of these. I will wear them as a base layer under my pants. I hate the cold weather, and these tights are nice and WARM. I would say that they are comparable to last year's 'expedition weight' tights from the North Face. I may even buy more :-)

When i first looked at these online I wasn't sure since we don't have a North Face Store near us. But i decide to try these and since they arrived these are a favorite. Comfortable yet warm for the early morning runs. A must have for anyone not living in the tropics.

Why is it so dang hard to find good athletic leggings/tights with pockets? After buying these and the warm-weather versions, I feel truly cheated by all other tights, which come with just sad little key pockets that won't do for the three keys I need to get into my building. These also have a great high waist band that stays put, great for all types of workouts. These and the warm-weather versions are also my go-to travel pants, now. So comfortable, and I can put my phone, passport/driver's license, boarding pass, those biscotti cookies that are gross but I eat anyway, etc. in the double pockets. So yeah! Love 'em.

I like to say there isn't a temperature that can stop me from running. These pants are perfect for the arctic snaps we get. I run in the early morning hours and I always need protection and warmth- these pants deliver on both.

I use these for walking/running and xc skiing, alone or under a ski pant layer. They are so warm, cozy and comfortable that I want several pairs so I can wear them around the house all winter!

I wear these for cold winter hikes and for every day when regular leggings don't supply enough warmth. They look and feel great.

I love these leggings, I have three pairs in different colors because they are just the perfect base layer for snow sports. They are very warm and comfortable

I walk my dog in inclement weather. It's cold and often windy. The leggings will keep my legs warm. I'm so excited I found these north face leggings. Especially in the XXL size that I can't find anywhere else. I'm so happy the North Face knows that larger women do exercise, hike, walk and move each day.

Early morning training runs during cold weather

These leggings are great for cold weather! They are lined with fleece making them super comfy and warm. I used them for hiking/walking in winter and they are perfect. Only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the logo just above the knee.

Amazing tights! Bought them for running as the weather started to turn colder. Pocket is plenty big to carry an iPhone XS in an Otterbox case. They keep me toasty warm, even on colder (20 degree F) days, even when the wind is blowing. Took a digger on my last trail run, skinned both knees but the leggings stayed in tact with no visible damage. Definitely will buy again.

Bought these tights for running in cold weather. They kept me very warm and the fleece wicked away sweat. My only complaint is that they tended to fall down from the waist, so I did have to tug them up quite a bit even when I tied the drawstring tightly. However, considering how warm they kept me, this minor irritation was a small price to pay. The inside layer stayed soft after washing and drying, and the outside layer was durable and kept its shape after much use. Overall, very satisfied with this product.
