Hiking

I was tired of having cold feet and ankles during my early morning runs in Maine. These have solved that problem.

Extra padding on the toes and heal, but they don't feel too hot. I love them for long runs! They support and protect my feet

Lightweight, comfortable hiking sock. Great for warmer weather. Good for running around town as well.

The socks themselves are fine, but the color shown on the computer is very different from the shade of blue in real life. In the online photo, the blue is bright--like a cheerful royal blue, but the actual color of the sock is a darker blue. Since I purchased the sock specifically for the color shown, I was disappointed.

Socks are nice. Color of socks are much darker than pictured.

The materials are fantastic and very high quality. But in my second time wearing these socks, the stitching at seams is already separating (by the Smartwool logo) to the point where a straw can fit through the hole that has formed from the popped seams. I'm not sure if this is a defect but it left me pretty disappointed. :(
