This parka fits great and is cute ... until you put the hood on. It comes down to my upper lip!! If there was a strap to adjust the hood to make it smaller, I would have kept the jacket. At this price point, the hood should be adjustable especially because a proper fitting of the hood is essential for the coat design and also for walking!

I waited all season for price to drop and finally made my purchase. Received item with no tags and the hood removed from parkina in package. Fur that looks so light and fluffy in the photo is a matted mess! Believe this to be used, laundered inappropriately, and re-sold. So disappointed!! Back it goes immediately!

I love this coat! Got in vintage white. Was concerned I would look like a marshmallow, but it looks great on me. I think it is super cute. Color is off white, I think a bit like a champagne color. Very toasty warm and I can still walk around in it without it feeling stiff. I got medium (5'7 130lbs) fits perfect all over including sleeves for my somewhat long arms. Needed a warmer coat as it gets below zero here. This is what I needed.

Just got this coat last night and I absolutely LOVE it!! I wore it around the house because it was so comfortable and I just loved it! Very stylish, classy and feminine! Would absolutely buy this again (although this one was a gift from my bf).

I needed something that could could me warm, protect my head and face from weather and long enough to cover my butt when I sat down on bleachers....and of course stylish! This is perfect. I love the inside and outside pockets have zippers. The hood is huge and fabulous! And removable. All around great buy!

Not only does this coat comes with all of the benefits of The North Face brand, of being super warm, light weight and of great quality, it is super stylish. It fits great, has a curvy shape, and love the longer back detail. The picture does not do it justice.

Bought this jacket in vintage white...beautiful colour. Hood nice and big, fur beautiful. Recommend this jacket...very stylish!

This is a replacement for my current North Face winter coat, the Arctic Parka II. In comparison, this coat is just as warm but SO MUCH LIGHTER! I have a pretty length commute on a bus and train, and always tried to avoid wearing my bulkier winter coat when I could get away with something more light-weight, but now it's way less of an issue! I appreciate that this coat has the inner zipper and the outer snap buttons - it's easy to throw on to take the dog out quickly or truly bundle up for a long commute. I prefer the coat without the detachable fur lining on the hood - the fur makes the hood a little too heavy for my liking. Without the fur, the hood doesn't sink so far down my face. Love that the neck zips right up to my chin - no need for a bulky scarf.

It is definitely true to fit size. The coat is comfortable and love the style. Love how the hat covers your whole head no need for a hat Definitely would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this this coat after searching for the right coat for this brutal winter. I went to several stores but nothing compares to this. This is my very first Parka and I'm absolutely in love now I need matching hat, gloves and scarf and I'll be all set

Size was fine. A little long in back for 5'9" young adult female with long legs. The color was not as shown. Do not be fooled, this has no resemblance to white, off white, winter white or another kind of white you have ever set eyes on. More like a pinkish, goldfish, tannish color. Not attractive at all.

It gets very cold where I live and this coat keeps me so warm! I take students outside for recess and this coat does a great job of not only keeping me warm, but it also protects me from the wind! All the while, it's so beautiful and stylish!

I had the same puffy coat for 15 years and tried every single comparable coat on the market before sticking with this. I love it! It’s super stylish! I feel amazing in it. The fur line is unique. It’s gives this halo effect to the face. Perfect for Chicago winters where -10 is not uncommon. I’m 5’7” 150lbs, wear a medium. I don’t think I could wear bulky sweaters under it but I tried the large also and it was too big. Not flattering. My only complaint with the coat is that you have to button it all the way up for it to look right. I wish I could just zip and go. It has a zipper then buttons on top and you have to do the buttons or it looks strange. Kind of annoying. All around, I love it though.

The fit and style were great. But, the outside pockets were small and there was one inside pocket, also small. Not sure how warm it would keep me when temps are near 0. Because pockets are too small for gloves and other items and I don't think it will be warm enough, I am returning it.

I am a veterinarian and had to be oustide a lot talking owners for "curbside" drop off and pick up. I needed something warm for the New England winter. This jacket is perfect! Even got myself matching hat and gloves. This was my first NorthFace order in my life... and now I will never get anything else!

My favorite jacket. Stylish. Comfortable. I got the medium - 5'6 130 lbs. perfect fit with room to spare for a thick sweater. Love the black color contrast with the grey fur hood. Perfect length.

This coat is perfect for winter needs in Illinois. With our constantly changing weather, it keeps me warm without being too heavy, and holds up the winds of the midwest. I'm 5-11, 150, and ordered a small. The sleeves and over length are perfect, and I have room to layer underneath. I waited too long to get the darker gray that i loved, but was pleasantly surprised by the heathered gray, it's subtle and not shiny.

Fabulous coat and color. Gives the appearance of a waist even when I don’t have one! Comfortable to wear with a sweater, as the arms have enough room.

Very nice jacket. I liked the fact that it's shorter in the front than the back. Haven't had a chance to wear it outside in the very cold weather! I do think it will be warm.

My Dream Coat! Perfect fit. True to size. I just love this brand. There is not any other coat Brand that comes close to The North Face. Truly worth every penny. I am looking forward to our NJ winter days to show this Gorgeous coat off.

I’m petite and pear shaped, jacket was tight at the hips. I sent it back not so much because of the fit, it was just very bulky for me. I am sure it will keep you very warm, but I think I’d do better with a packable coat.

This coat fit great!! I bought one for me and one for my daughter. Mine is Large and hers is medium. I'm 5'2' and 130lbs and the large fit great on me, roomy for a heavy sweater in -20 degrees but not too large! It's fitted and not bulky like some coats. The only parts that get cold are my legs which aren't under the coat. It comes to an inch or so above my knees and I like the longer part on the back. The hood is quite large in the large size coat but not so in medium. But it is effective and super warm. It's pricy but worth it. I've had it now for 18 months or so and still it's in excellent shape. I wear it every single day in the long winter months here up north. Any car dirt that rubs on it or makeup on the collar comes right off with dry or wet wiping. No feathers flying so far and the buttons hide the zipper, so it looks pretty good providing double coverage in the front area. It's flexible and moves with me, not stiff like other coats so my head isn't floating when I sit down in the car as it does in some other coats. The black and dark grey colors are beautiful. The sleeves length is perfect. It has several pockets including an inside one, deep enough to carry my gloves, hat, tissues and small money purse. I love it. It looks like a keeper for many years to come.

This parka has a wonderful hood that really works great. It is big enough that my hair is not messed up.

This coat is the GOAT!! It's super warm, the fit is Awesome. I wore the gray one last year during the winter and got so many compliments and inquiries. I was super happy to have found it again, even though it's a different color. My husband made the mistake and rip the gray one and I shed a tear because I'm so in love with this coat. I didn't think I would be able to find another one and get it for a good price.
