I am always cold and I used to hate winter. When I got this coat everything changed and I felt like I could actually go outside and enjoy nature in the winter.

I have a Nuptse for 10 years and decided to get a new one so I can rotate them. Somehow the zipper on the new one is not as good as the old one from 10 years ago, it gets stuck pretty easy. Everything else is great as usually. Again, this is not a big deal since if you want to rock the Nuptse look, you don't zip up.

Hello! So I used to work at TNF and I've been waiting for a purple nuptse for yeeaars and they finally made it (or remade it?)! Colorwise I'm very happy. I think the photos give a good representation of how it looks in different lighting. How it wears, it's really comfortable. You can easily wear it over a t shirt or layer it. I've always wanted a nuptse because it really is the warmest jacket that tnf makes. I haven't worn it in windy cold sf evening weather but I know it's not super wind proof so I think it's best to wear a wind breaker over it.

Beautiful, vibrant purple color. Lightweight and comfortable. Retro style of puffer that's popular with teenagers nowadays.

I love North Face this jacket is very warm. It runs on the large side I had to return for a smaller size.

I'm so happy with this jacket. I'm 5 3' and 135 lb so I ordered a small and it was a perfect fit for me. But if you want it to look a little bigger on you order a medium ...either one will look good. Is a jacket that looks good over size or just the perfect fit jacket since is a stylish jacket it goes both ways.

I gave this to my daughter who is absolutely in love with the jacket. Sized well and keeps her toasty in some very cold weather! It should last for a long time for her!

LOVE my new retro North face puffy. Its perfectly balanced between stylish and functional. So many puffs have a very technical feel, so I love that this one has a style element. Feels very relevant on a city street as well as the slopes on a dry day.

I really love this coat. It's a little shorter than I would like, but based on the photos I expected it to be a bit cropped. It also fits slightly bigger than I expected, so you may want to consider sizing down, though it is definitely the kind of coat that looks nice oversized or fitted. One thing I didn't like about it was the sheen on the material. It looks a lot more matte in pictures than in person. I really do love the look and quality of this jacket and it serves its purpose of keeping me very warm.

I tried six coats from various big outdoors brands, including two others from TNF, before finally finding and falling for this one. I work in film and TV in New York, so am often outside for 14+ hours no matter the weather, and was tired of trying to fit tons of layers beneath my Carhartt and still freezing most of the time. The Nuptse is popular with the NYC production crowd; the short length makes it convenient for wearing a walkie or when you need to access your waist bag, etc. I'm petite (5'1, 107 lbs, 32B) with hips and love the boxy coat trendmy body type is one not flattered by the popular long, thin, form-fitting parka look. That being said, most "oversized" or "relaxed fit" coats are way too big on me drafty to the point where they just aren't warm, but not the Nuptsethe Velcro adjustable wrist cuffs and drawstring waist make it easy to trap heat while maintaining the whole puffy look. I tried an on XS and found it uncomfortably snug over the sweatshirt I was wearing, so I ordered a Small because I wanted room for hoodies and jackets beneath, and it fits perfectly, hits right at my hips. It is SO COMFORTABLE. Like wearing a cloud pillow hug. I'm able to wear it in ~35F with just long a sleeved t-shirt, which was my goal, and layering a mid-weight fleece and a thermal top beneath works well when the temp drops below that. It does pretty well with wind. I wouldn't wear it without a shell in the rain, and even heavy snow is questionable, but I have a waterproof poncho to throw on top in inclement weather. Pockets are super warm; love the stand-up collar when the hood is stuffed inside. The shell is VERY thin and feels fragile, prone to tearing, so I'm careful not to snag it and don't think this jacket would be ideal for hiking/the woods/any sort of sharp or rough environment, but it's perfect for urban use. I always get compliments on the Nuptse because it's such a classic, funky style while also being super warm and practical. I want it in every color!
