I like the style of this jacket. I just wish it were a little longer; it is too cropped.

It's warm and it looks cool. It keeps the wind away which is important. I like the fit, might be better if the hip area is wider or widely adjustable (especially for women's). But it's near perfect and I wear it every day.

Caught this jacket on a branch and it ripped. The fabric is very thin for the price and tore easily. Disappointed in the quality - doesn't seem up to standard for North Face.

Perfect jacket and exactly as described

Really warm and stylish. High resistance to wind and really appropriate for cold weather, especially for rain and snow. It really fits well but kinda has long sleeve. But it really makes me warm at the cold weather.

Bought this Nuptse Retro about 3 or 4 years ago. Without a doubt, this is the best jacket I have ever owned. When I first got it, I was surprised at how light it was. I thought it wouldn't be very warm - but I was wrong. It is the warmest jacket I have ever had (and I have a closet full). I broke one of the pocket zippers, but no other problems. The only improvement I can think of is that I wish they would add an inside pocket to this jacket. I definitely plan on buying another one of these,

really warm and good style

The coat is cute, stylish and very warm. It's a classic coat and it can be worn casual or you can dress it up. I remember this coat from my childhood. I ordered a women's medium in TNF Black and it fits great. I have enough room for a fleece hoodie, a thick scarf, or even a packable jacket under it (For reference, I am a size 4-6, I am 5'2 and 125LB with athletic shape). The women's medium size of this coat is more puffy and is shorter in length and If you were to order the men's medium size it is less puffy, more boxy and a bit longer, both have similar specs. I hope this is helpful. The shipping was pretty horrible. I ordered my coat on a Sunday and my coat never shipped out. I called customer service and after 10 mins on hold, I was given a new order number and my coat was overnighted to me for free (which was great). I received it by the following Saturday. I also didn't like that the coat was shipped in a matte plastic shipping bag with North Face branding all over it. It's marketing - I get it. But now everyone and their mother knows a coat is in the mail for you. (I don't think this is very smart of the company if you spend $300+ on a coat and its not in a secure box - keep this in mind during the holiday shopping season.) If you are shipping this - I would recommend to spend a little extra and overnight this. Next time, I'll do that.

This jacket is very warm. The hood is a bit strange how it is so thin but I barely use it anyways so I think it was a great investment.

My daughters love this jacket. It's quite warm but a bit bulky.

Jacket ordered and came very quickly. Had ordered it for my Wife but however the Coat was small. She likes to wear a hoodie under her Puffer coats and had room. Much cheaper than the other competitors. Same durability and quality. Will repurchase this coat again this time at the North Face Store with her going for her exact fit.
