Definitely size up! My kiddo wears a size 1 in Vans and needed a 2 in this style. Nice, sturdy shoe for skating.

They fit great. My daughter's loves them and wants to wear them all the time and shoe are usually the first thing that she wants to take off. Ordered from this company before and never disappointed. One of the only places you can even find DC shoes.

This is more for Zappos and not DC. The DC shoes are nice but Zappos shipped them not in original packaging but rather in a plain brown box. Dissatisfied with Zappos! Would like a portion back of what I paid since I didn't receive what I was expecting. No warning regarding packaging either!
