I have had two pairs of the original V1. And expected that the v2 would be as good. Bought the last pair in 2018. Held up well, just normal wear on the tread. But decided I needed a new pair. Arch support does not equal the v1. Also does not have rubber toes like the v1. So I am returning them. This is disappointing. Why can't NB continue to make a quality shoe instead of cutting out comfort and style features in a new and not improved version.

Usually take an 8-1/2 yet these shoes are too small for my feet. My toes are pushing the ends; not comfortable at all. Too bad past return date. :(

After only half a dozen wearings, the lining of the heal wore out, leaving a very hard interior that rubbed the skin off the back of my feet. Painful! Cheapest New Balance shoes I've ever owned. While the treads are like new, the shoes are basically unwearable in this condition.

Disappointed that I can not buy a New Balance product that fits the same as another NB shoe of the same size. Need to do a better job of quality control!!

I've been buying the 659 and 669 for years, but this latest version is a step down. The nap of the shoe is smaller and doesn't lace high enough on your foot. The lace loops are thin nylon unlike the prior holes punched in leather. One of those cheap lace loops tore from nap of the shoe 6 months after I bought them.

These shoes are nice and well made. Too bad the 11 size, 4E (extra wide), fits more like a medium size. It doesn't' help to those, as in my case, needing an extra wide size. Unfortunately I can't wear them.

I was trying to replace the NB Men's MW 659 Country Walking Shoe in black and grey size 9 4E, which I have been wearing for five years. They are the best shoe NB ever made. The 669 v2 does not come close to the 659. The right shoe bed angles down to the front and in towards the big toe, which made my foot hurt. The loops in the back of the shoes are huge, you can get two or three fingers in them and I'm fairly certain they can catch on something and trip you. It only comes in brown. How about reviewing the 659 and reproducing its quality?

I love your running shoes! And those 4E Width running shoes fit just fine. But this Trail shoe is far to narrow and not built as comfortable as the road running shoes.

These are just terrible shoes. I have owned probably twenty pairs of New Balance shoes and still think highly of the brand. This model is just poorly made. The foam around the heel beneath the fabric liner tends to rollover on itself and it hard to correct. The fabric wore out by the heel. The laces are too slippery and constantly unknot themselves.

No arch support, no cushioning. Pretty disappointing for the price.
