I was in a store locally getting fitted for orthotics because I broke my foot (long weird story) and silly me didn’t bring sneakers or shoes to try out with orthotics. So they used these. I hated the price tag and wasn’t sure I’d use them since I’m more of a Dansko clog or Frye Harness boot kind of gal but after I realized these have a vibram sole and were really well made, I decided to buy them in grey. I haven’t looked back. I love them. They are in style with what people wear in my area right now, they look good with skinny jeans and they feel awesome on my feet. I love that they are waterproof. My only complaint is how easily the laces come unraveled.

Quality with emphasis to details, but hard construction of heal was a painful grip. Otherwise these a an A+

I loved everything about them except the ankle area was to stiff for me to have a chance to break them in. I have had 6 ankle/foot surgeries (screws and plates) and fibromyalgia I just couldn't take the pressure to break them in, other wise I bet they would have been perfect.

These shoes would have fit the bill for our upcoming trip to Europe, however, being a size 11M, these made my feet look much chunkier and manlier than they are. They might be good for hiking, as they look very "trek-y." I wish the style was a bit more feminine.

Love the look, high toe box, and narrow heel but the heel is low cut and doesn’t work with my Good Feet orthotic. This shoe is very stable for walking but also very firm with no cushion. This was surprising because there is a cork layer in the insole.

Not entirely sure, after wearing them only in the house was good then on my first outing for an hour or so I developed a skin rubbed raw patch bleeding on my right inside heel. After trying a heavier sock same thing. Not sure if I will keep a show this expensive shoes that will leave me with bloody socks each time. Perhaps I will try buying a heel insert. On another note I was disappointed in the arch as that is the main reason I spend the money on Dansko.

these shoes felt very stiff

One tongue was longer then the other. Did not notice this fact until i had them on and was out walking my dogs. Was wondering why one foot hurt and the other didn't. Also, shoes very stiff. Returning them after high hopes of finding a new waterproof brand shoe. Bummed!

I am sorry to have to submit a negative review, but this shoe was probably the most uncomfortable shoe I’ve had on in a long time. The sad part is that I have three other pairs of Dansko shoes that I love. I was totally unprepared for how this shoe made my foot feel. The sole is stiff and very hard. The tongue digs into the top of the foot, so when I walked, it was total discomfort. I am sorry to say the shoe had to be returned. Zappos was so helpful in taking it back.

Shoe is very stiff and has no flexibility to work with the movement of your foot

Normally Dansko fits my low volume narrow foot very well. This did not. Toe box was very wide, and the laces closed completely over my low volume foot.I am returning them.

I have two other colors of this style so was shocked that the gray color was so different. Very wide comparitively and not nearly as nice looking!
