Very comfortable AND MUCH more stylish than Dansko clogs - definitely the fall/winter boot I thought I'd been looking for! However, as much as I love these shoes in theory, in practice, I just can't seem to find an outfit I'd actually wear them with, where they look good or add something. Maybe I have the wrong skinny jeans or pants, but the boot shaft seems a tad too tall for me to cuff my jeans with them, but then I feel like the boots look goofy if I tuck my jeans into them. Perhaps I need a smaller size and I'd like to keep them to try to make them work.

I wanted to love these boots. The leather is butter soft and so comfortable, and it's a Dansko, so the support is amazing. I live in Dansko clogs in the winter, but I need Dansko to make more wide width shoes! There are only certain clog styles that come in wide width, and other than that, if you have a wide foot, I guess they don't really care. The length on these is perfect, but they are too tight. I know they'll stretch a little, but they won't stretch so much that they'd basically turn into a wide shoe, so back they go. If you are a true wide, these probably won't work for you either. Thank goodness for Zappos return policy, and ease of returns!

These are my first pair of Danskos and they live up to the hype. They were comfortable from day one. In fact I've worn them every single day since I got them, almost a couple weeks now and they are still comfortable. I was always used to having to switch shoes every day because my feet would get sore. These have a little bit of arch support and I am accustomed to really flat shoes so maybe that's the difference. They look great with tights and a dress or skinny jeans. High quality construction and zipper. Waterproof is a huge plus - I live in the pacific northwest where it's wet most of the year. I'm shopping for my next pair of Danskos already.

These were perfect for me. The leathers is super buttery soft. A little bit of a heel, but not so much your feet hurt. I got these for three days in Paris and literally walked six miles for three days in these and was totally comfortable. I'd say my fashion sense is sport mom with young kids and these work great with my bootcut jeans (I am not a skinny jeans person).

I bought these because I could live in my Dansko clogs all day long they are so comfortable. I’ve been wearing these for 5 hours and my feet hurt. Zero arch support.

I absolutely love these boots. I am really a 10.5 (41) which you just can't get. Additionally, I have a bunion on my left foot which makes that foot a little wider. The leather is so soft, that it isn't an issue. I got these to go abroad in the rainy season so I wanted a waterproof boot that didn't look like a waterproof boot. Unfortunately, I was sent gray in a box for black boots and really needed black in a hurry (which was unavailable on Zappos) so I had to return them.

These are super comfy out of the box but the overall height of the boot is weird. For the boot to fit over skinny pants, and look nice, your pants would have to fit VERY tightly. Since the boot hits a few inches above the ankle, my pants were not tight here it it created an awkward, baggy look. Wish the boots were a few inches taller and they would have been a keeper.

I have a high arch, and these boots are difficult to get on and uncomfortable for me at the arch. I ordered a larger size because I anticipated some trouble, but there was extra room in the toe and the arch was still too tight. The spice color is actually quite reddish, more so than I thought it would be from the pictures. They do look a tiny bit clunky, which I would accept for the waterproof aspect. I have to walk about a mile from my car to my office and the rain and snow can be unpleasant. Unfortunately, these will go back.

I love these boots. They are stylish and comfortable. Unfortunately, after only two weeks of wearing them, the heel that is covered in wood-looking plastic is starting to peel off, revealing the white plastic underneath. Very disappointing for such expensive boots and for a brand I usually love.

Needs a little break in time. The footbed of Danskos are the best for my feet.

Extremely comfortable!

Pretty excited about these for the coming wet winter weather. They seem super comfortable right out of the box, and I hope they live up to the waterproof claim!

I am in love with these boots! I bought the Spice color and I may need to buy these boots in the grey and the black, as well. The medium width is perfect for me -- with winter socks! Similar boots from other brands have been too narrow for me in the medium width. These boots are so gorgeous and so comfortable that I wore them all day, right out of the box -- I was walking and standing all day doing holiday prep and cooking, and my feet felt great.

I love these booties! True to Dansko, very nice quality. The leather is supple. I love the shading on the toes - I think they’ll look great with black as well as gray, jeans, etc. While they are pretty comfortable for a boot, they’re still a bit harder soled than a true “comfort shoe”. Today was the 1st day I wore them - no breaking in required. And today was a rainy day - they kept my feet dry and still look good after getting wet. I may have to order them in another color.

These boots felt comfortable right out of the box. I wear a narrow width, but since they do not come in narrow, they will work just fine by wearing thicker socks. The leather is very soft. I must admit that they are a rather strange height, but I will make it work just because I like them so much. Planning on taking them to Scotland for Christmas where the weather can definitely be wet.

Black leather and waterproof!! I love that there's no strap or buckles. Not too high but covers the lower part of my leg and I can tuck my pants in the boots. Love them!

These shoes feel wide enough and long enough, but the height on the main foot section is really small. I suffer from mild edema in one of my feet and there isn’t enough room for my size 10.5 foot even in the size 42. So if you have “chubby” feet (or foot ;) you might need to size up two sizes!

these were beautiful and well-made and would have served me well waiting for the bus every morning in the rain. However, they were much larger than ususal. I am an 8.5/39 and these felt a whole size larger. Had to return - went for the Barbara in the end.

Good looking boot, but not enough give in the leather. I wear a small lift in one shoe and even though I went up a half size it still felt tight.

According to the size menu, “41 (10.5-11)” is my recommended size. They were was WAY too small (I normally wear 11). I vocalized a loud grunt to try to get my foot into the shoe, and my husband called across the house to see if I was ok, but I really wanted them to fit!!! ? I exchanged them for “42 (11.5-12)” and they were STILL way too small, which seems ridiculous if it’s 11.5-12. So, either the sizing for the shoe is WAY off, or the size menu (European to American sizes) is just wrong. I don’t know which it is.

I was eyeballing these all season. I love Dansko clogs but I wanted a stylish ankle boot that was both comfortable and waterproof. I wear a 6.5. The 37 was too big so I ordered the 36 which after a few wears fit comfortably. Unfortunately, there isn't much padding under my foot, especially under the ball of my foot and the rubber sole is hard. I live in NYC and don't drive so I walk more than most people. It's super important that I wear footwear with proper support. I was hoping that I could live in these boots all winter, but I will have to take them out for special occassions. I wish that the Barbara or Maria clog boots were waterproof. They might be a better option for me.

The shoe was a little on the larger side, but still doable; the real problem was that the arch felt like it was in the wrong place and was really uncomfortable. Unfortunately they didn't have the next size down for me to exchange, so I'm returning both the Bethanie and the Becki which had the same problem. I liked the look of the shoes, but the sizing was off for both, hence 2 stars overall.

The fit was a little narrow for Dansko. I returned because the leather along with the plastic sole made them look cheap.
