Finally, a pair of booties that fit perfect right out of the box. I have been searching for over one month for a pair of black booties that I could dress up or dress down. These Dansko Becki booties fit the bill. Leather is super soft. The fit is not like the usual Dansko chunky style, but a little more refined. I do like the chunky style and actually got a pair of the Dansko Barbara as well. Between the two, the Becki is what I need. I will say that I also like the Dansko Barbara, but I went with the Becki.

Love it, just need to go up one size to wear with winter socks

Beautiful color and great quality. These are very comfortable and don’t hurt my feet like so many shoes do.

I put these boots to the test as soon as they arrived. They fit so comfortably right from the start I walked in them for a full day while visiting another city; they did not disappoint with either style or comfort :). I haven't worn them while raining yet; I know these boots will have me covered if that happens.

The fit is great. I had a rub on small toe but it was the socks so yay! The boots do look longer than your foot because they are. It seems less that and inch from my toe BUT they are comfy

Really liked these a lot. I finally found a pair that was not too narrow at the metatarsal and did not squish my toes. I was disappointed that they were too wide in the heel so I kept slipping out. The only way I could wear them was with a thick hiking sock. Had to return them.

I really love these boots. I have a black pair also and wear them daily. I have problems with foot pain and I am able to wear these with no issues.

Super cute and comfortable (after you break them in). I have a bunion that is getting progressively worse so I have been in the market for an everyday brown leather shoe that doesn't aggravate it. These hurt my bunion the first two wears but after that they stretched a little and now are super comfortable. I can wear them all day without any foot pain or blisters. Highly recommend for wide feet and/or bunions.

Great boot. Feels so good on. Plenty of space for my toes, which are medium long. Space for a thicker or medium sock but still comfortable with a thin sock or even without socks. Great support.

I ordered these in a 38 in the tan suede. I have a Morton's neuroma and have to use custom orthotics, wear shoes that are plenty wide and also low heel. These fit the bill perfect. Insoles are removable and the heel is just low enough to not bother my feet. Very comfortable. I agree with another reviewer that these run a little long, definitely longer than a different pair of 38 Danskos I have. One small thing I really don't like - the toe and heel has a dark stain effect that looks weird to me, almost like a clown shoe effect. I tried brushing it off with a suede brush but it didn't come off. We will see, the rest of the leather will probably darken with time so it might be less noticeable.

Update to initial review! The perfect boot for problem feet! I love these boots so much, I bought two pairs! I have bunions, narrow heels, and ridiculously high insteps - they are blissful to walk in right out of the box. They may feel to some, including myself, slightly big in the back initially, however, they don’t slip off the back of the foot or rub in a way that would cause a blister. The boots have not stretched out after numerous wears, to impact the subtle feeling of being somewhat roomier towards the back. As a note, when wearing without socks, the slippage goes away. These boots go perfectly with jeans, dresses, skirts, leggings, tights, and work attire. And, they are waterproof! One last note, as a fan of Danskos for many years, I will agree the price point is high, but they last forever! I wouldn’t be buying so many new Danskos shoes this year if I didn’t have hip surgery and found out it’s ill advised for me to wear heels moving forward. Try them, you might like them!

Nice boots in my typical 39 size with Dansko. I ordered the Bea too, which were super comfortable, but really scratched the you know what out of my ankles. I ordered the Becki (this boot) in hopes it didn’t rub my ankles and luckily it did not! I have bunions, a high instep and a narrow calf and the Becki seemed to work better for me overall, but the Bea was roomier. I’m kinda torn between the two styles, but give I’ll be likely wearing these without socks, the Becki is the one I’m sticking with as it doesn’t rub the ankles raw, as the Bea does. The Bea had elastic that simply won’t stretch out, whereas the Becki is a soft leather - no issues there.

I love my new boots. I am a shoe snob and only like super comfortable shoes. I am on my feet all day. Dansko never disappoints. The front part of these boots took a little getting use to but are super comfortable now. Thanks Dansko!!

These lovely boots feel like I'm wearing slippers!

I love these short boots. They are very comfortable. I was looking for a wider toe box and these boots gave my toes room to spread out without totally giving up style. Added bonus is that they are waterproof! I am between a size 8 (38) and size 8.5 (39). The 38 fit like a glove, but I opted for the 39 to give my feet a little more room. The 39 does feel a little loose even with winter socks.

I'm a longtime Dansko wearer despite their inconsistent, weird sizing in recent years. I use to be a solid size 39 for years, now it depends on the style. Good news! The Dansko Becki is an excellent fit at size 38!! I also recently bought the Dansko Brenna in a 38 and my feet couldn't be happier! The Professional style I'm no longer purchasing, the 39 is way too big and 38 is too tight. I'm glad because Dansko really can't be beat for comfort, beautifully crafted and classic style.

The most comfortable shoe out there. I’m on my feet for 8-10 hours and I have no issues when wearing these boots. The price is high but absolutely worth it.

So far, so good. Out of the box, the booties look terrific. They seem to be a very functional and high quality Dansko product. Since I have only worn them for a few turns around the house, I am not certain how they will feel and wear over a longer period of time. But, they feel quite comfortable initially. I am a true size 37 with a low volume foot, slim heel, and a narrow to medium forefoot. I found these to be a trimmer fit than most Danskos , which works well for me. Although my heels slide a bit, these boots are a good fit for my foot type. Hopefully, the heel cup will soften to my foot with a little wear. The sole seems to provide some grip without extra tread, and the heel height is perfect for my use. Being waterproof is a welcome bonus here in the NW! I live in my boots by the time October arrives, and these should get a good workout this winter.

I thought the fit was perfect and I loved the arch support. The low heels makes walking easy and comfortable. They are great looking boots under pants.

For Dansko the toe box is tighter than other Dansko boots I have bought. It could be the leather is too thick, not soft. I am regrettably sending these back.
