I love the look of these booties, and the 38, which is my usual size, fits perfectly. My only complaint is that, though they're quite comfortable once they're on, I have a very hard time getting my feet into them. I absolutely cannot get them on without a shoe horn. That may change as I wear them; we'll see. I like them, anyway--no regrets!

The footbed was very comfortable and true to size, like many Danskos. I loved the style but the boot rubbed uncomfortably against my ankles. Sorry but I had to return them.

I have a narrow heel/ foot , medium arches, and somewhat wider at the balls of my feet. I just know that as i've gotten older my toes need more room than when i was younger. I am typically a 9 in running shoes and about an 8.5 in most shoes and almost always a 39. I ordered the 39 and these booties fit very well. i was only able to walk around the house because i was deciding between these and the Barbara dansko. My toes were close to the end but there was plenty of room for my toes to spread out and they are surprisingly cushioned. They did feel all around a bit to wide for my foot but my heel stayed put and they felt pretty comfortable. It's definitely not a minimalist bootie but a cute style nonetheless.I decided to go with the Barbaras because I needed something slightly more less bulky/ slightly more dressy.

I have the original Dansko clogs and I've had them for over 10 years. They aren't pretty, but they are the most comfortable pair of shoes I own. I have a balance disability and haven't been able to wear my clogs in the past 6 months because they are just too high. I loved the style of these booties so much that I decided to go ahead and order them with the intention that they might be too high and I would have to send them back. I got them last night and I am thrilled with them! They have the same comfort as my 10 year old clogs, but they are much lower. I feel completely steady in them and they are just my style! I am so happy I took a chance and they worked!

These are slightly roomy, but not in a way that's uncomfortable. I wore these all night at a casual wedding while dancing, and they barely gave my feet any trouble. I usually have to wear custom inserts for arch support, but I can get away without them in these.

Got these shoes because I need a firm sole to prevent my big toe from bending too much due to some foot injuries. Works great and they’re cute!

Love them. Not the most sexy bootie around, but seriously not bad looking for such awesomely comfortable shoes. Just like your favorite old pair of Dansko clogs but somehow more attractive. I usually wear 11s, I ordered 41 and they fit like Dansko clogs usually do - loose in the heel but otherwise fantastic. They are still comfortable after a long day at work. My only issue is it’s a bit tough to get them on - definitely a two-hand job. I think the narrow ankle is the culprit. But I’ll definitely live with that minor flaw in order to live in these lovely comfy cute boots!

I have to agree with other reviewers, order at least a half size down. I have a pair of Dansko clogs that are size 39. Ordered the Barbara in 38 and my narrow foot was swimming. Ordered a 37 and they were tight and the arch wasn't quite in the correct place. I would say if you have a normal to wide foot try ordering a half size down.

I loved these on sight, but ended up being unable to wear them due to the heavy weight of the boot. I am on my feel all day and had heard excellent things about Dansko, but my ankles were exhausted in them. The style is amazing though, who knew that Dansko could be so great looking? Wish I could have kept them.

Wear these with trousers, they do the job, and are waterproof and do the job for inclement weather. They are not pretty, but passable. Size 38/black the brown color was really ugly

I really wanted these to work but they just felt too big. My foot moved too much in the shoe and the piece of leather that Dansko puts inside the back of the shoe was rough causing my sock to pull.

My first impression when I took these booties out of the box was that the color (tan oiled pull up) was very different from my expections. The online pictures (on zappos or elsewhere) show an overall warm reddish color, but the booties in person have very unattractive dull shade of brown -- it has none of the beautiful reddish hue. When I put these booties on, I found them to be very stiff, both the soles and the leather. The only good thing is that size 38 is a good fit for my usual 7.5-8 feet. With shoes this expensive, my expectation is higher and these did not deliver for me due to its stiffness, even if I exchange these for the black color.

These shoes were adorable and very comfortable on my feet. I wanted to love them but the ankle rubbed on the outside of my left foot. Very sorry to return them.

Color not quite the same brown as shown on photo. Love the shoe (I have it in black) but not the color.

Had to return and get the Danko Maria boot. These boots run long and wide and make my size 41 feet look ridiculous, especially since my ankles are so skinny. The Maria was a much better fit for narrow feet.

I usually wear a 6W in other shoes (36 in Dansko). Even though this was not a wide width shoe, this general style is usually wide enough, but not this time. This didn't feel as wide as their clogs. I ordered the burgundy and liked the look of the boot style, but it's just too tight.

Love the look of these. I have similar danskos that I love and wear everyday. But, these were huge. My foot slid around in them and looked huge next to my other 37 Danskos. Sent back. Sad I can’t find the older clog boots.

I bought this bootie because of the dark heel unlike the light heel of the other style that I truly love. But I get the light heel so dirty. Unfortunately I really felt this on my ankle-it didn’t feel like the other style. I thought they were the same boot. Alas, I was wrong. I’m returning this one and I will stick with the style I love.

I've been wearing Danskos for many years. The Dansko Barbara didn't work for me. I thought they might fit like the Dansko Maria or the Professional but they did not. Uncomfortable rubbing at the ankle within the first few steps and pronounced slipping with stiffness. Not at all what I would expect from one of my fav brands. I'm returning these for a different style of Dankso. Thank you Zappos for the excellent return policy!

I was excited to try these and have another type of shoe. I typically only wear my dansko clogs because they give the strong arch support I need. The Paisley did not have the same type of arch support and my foot collapsed in. Not all of the wood foundations for Dansko shoes are made the same. Sad to say, I'm sending these back and wishing for some new, highly supportive styles.

I love these boots but they run so big I had to return them. Needed a 35 instead of the smallest size offered, 36.

I bought these and the Becki to compare and assumed the Barbara would be more comfortable since it's built like the clogs. And while it does have more support than the Becki, it was too narrow and the top dug into my ankle a bit. It also was indeed very hard to get on like the other reviews said. I returned them.

I have a number of Dansko clogs/boots and always wear a 38 and I ordered a 38 in this model but I found them to fit a size too large and will consider ordering a size 37.

This shoe comes too high up on my ankle/leg to be comfortable; it cut into my leg when I walked. Also, I didn't realize this shoe wasn't all leather. The "leather" looks cheap and like it would scuff easily.
