I wear smart wool tights and socks all winter and I'm almost never cold.

I use it under my jeans when I go walking it's so soft comfortable and works way better than leggings. I had an abdominal operation so I had to get the large to fit that area. It's not the first pair I've bought I would buy them again.

I love this base layer for sleeping in, as well as for under pants/skirts in the winter. High quality fabric and construction.

I use these base layers for hiking and snow sports!! They also make a very cute, warm pair of stockings for everyday wear, especially when I pair them with my Smartwool skirt!! I got the size small because size XS that I usually wear was unavailable, but they still fit nicely! Highly recommend!

These merino bottoms are lovely! They feel great against my skin and are a perfect medium weight.

I bought two pair of these wool bottoms and also tops because I am almost always cold. The weight of the knit seems just right to take off the chill indoors in cold weather, and is sufficient for outdoors activity as well. Have not yet tried them in really cold weather. Fits well under clothing. Fun colors. Easy care.

This is my third pair of smartwool leggings. Love how warm and durable they are. I wear them to bed in the cold months and layer them under dresses and skirts, too. They last a long time and hold up well. Tried another brand last time and was disappointed in how quickly they developed holes.

Fits very well. very flattering. warm very soft. Not itchy like other brands. I enjoy wearing it with the thermal base layer top.

These are soft and a great fit and design.. large fits like a true large. I own several pair and these are my favorite "long underwear" base layer ever! Soft and warm and wonderful. Every woman needs at least one pair of these with a matching crew top of course!

I bought these for a trip to Scotland this winter as a base layer. They are very soft and not itchy like some wool base layers I have found.

I absolutely love these merino base layer bottoms. The pattern is so pretty and the material is super comfy. I look forward to wearing these (bought a solid colored pair as well) in the cooler New England Fall and Winter months.

Comfortable, keeps you warm. Excellent base layer for cold days or rainy days while camping. I love to sleep in them and add outerwear overtop in the morning.

These are super cozy leggings with just enough stretch to be forgiving. I love this pattern, too - it's almost black even with the snowflakes, which give it a little texture. I look forward to wearing these in Iceland.

Wore them on a chilly day and wasn't chilly at all. Fabric is exceptionally soft. They are a bit long for me (and I have long legs) but I can live with that!

Quite comfortable! Doesn't lay as flat as leggings but obvious benefits over those as they are made of a natural material.

I wear these by themselves as my bottom, under shorts, and under skirts. I wear them sometimes for PJ bottoms and ALL the time for day wear. They are PERFECT in the morning under my shorts and then get peeled off as the day warms up. The are like a hug for my legs. They are SO SOFT and comfy. I was wearing the foggy pines under my shorts at the athletic club and a friend was admiring them. She now has a pair of her own and is just as in love with hers as I am with mine. I have 5 of these in all different colors. My biggest challenge is deciding which color to wear in the morning.

Comfy sums it up in one word. I love, love, love these and have multiple pair in beautiful colors that I just wear like regular leggings many days of the week. I have gotten many compliments on them. One friend was looking at them from afar and just went on and on and on about how much she loved them. I, of course, told her how she too could have some. Cheers!

This is the best base layer or can be worn by themselves! Keeps my legs warm on trail runs overnight even down close to freezing. Best of all, they are so soft and cause zero chafing! Highly recommend!
