Great baselayer. Would love if they could be multi-use tho as standalone leggings. Bit see thru and tend to droop down so pulling them up a lot.

Soft, comfortable fabric. I wish they were a little longer, they don't cover my ankles and I'm definitely not a "tall" size (I'm 5'5")

Great base layer and pairs nicely with the thermal 1/4 zip top. I am on the short side and the legs are long for me. It would be great is Smartwool would make a petite size!

I love Smartwool, but these particular pants are a little weird. I'm 5'7" 138 lbs. The length is perfect. The waist fits great, but the cut is NOT even on both sides. The first pair of pants I received was defective, and Smartwood promptly replaced them. I was very satisfied by the customer service!! The 2nd pair I received was still a little off, where one side of the pants were cut smaller than the other side. It has something to do with the machines that cut the pattern in the warehouse and it's noticeable to me. I didn't send them back yet, and might just deal with it, as Smartwool was so kind to fix it the first time. #sweepstakes

Ordered in 2 sizes. Kept 1, returned 1. The size small fits well, and is comfortable.

These pants are breathable and warm and not scratchy. Definitely high quality. The only issue I had is they weren't tight enough around my waist so they got slightly baggy. It's not a big problem though because it's an under layer. #sweepstakes

These are kind of like wearing Smartwool socks on my legs, I love them and will use them often when the weather cools down for daily dog walks and more.

I love smartwool base layers! Merino wool is the way to go. It keeps you warm even when you get wet. I can't wait to take these to Iceland this summer.

Now med due to 30 lb wt loss. Larges fit but are a little loose. Still warm, comfortable. Will not give them up. If need be will take the size large to a local seamstress for a little trim and tuck

Nice but a bit thick and stiff...too hot to wear beneath insulated pants , even on a sub zero day. And waist could be higher because it keeps slipping.

I bought the base layer bottoms for use during cold weather activities. So far I have used them under my ski pants. I was plenty warm, but never sweaty, with temperatures ranging from about 10-30 degrees. The material is very comfortable and did not bunch up under my outside layer.
