I have a wide foot, these shoes offer the perfect amount of room. The BOA style is great as well due to a nagging back. They are comfortable from the moment you put them on, no breaking in period.

As one of FJs top shoes, I thought that this might be the ideal replacement for my FJ Contour ProShop shoes which I use for work as my winter shoe, being waterproof and such, unfortunately to no fault of the shoe as I work in retail and walk on hard floors, the soles of my feet really hurt after a couple of hours. These shoes are definitely designed to be used on a golf course and would be excellent, the other mistake I made was not looking to the type of last used in this shoe! This is a very significant point as being a trained FJ master fitter in my past life as a Manager of a Nevada Bob's Golf Store, I know that no other supplier has the number of lasts (13 if I am not mistaken.....its been 9 yrs since) compared to most of the other suppliers which have 3 or 4 across their entire line. I also ordered it custom as I am mandated by my job to be in all black shoes and FJ did not have a stock model in that color. The boa is fantastic as I hated the laces FJ sent on my earlier shoes as they would undo themselves every few minutes...very very annoying!

#sweepsteaks These are a very handsome pair of shoes, but the BOA system provides a less than optimal fit. Because it is on the heel it is difficult to use. It also seems to tighten the shoe in an uneven manner that causes a less comfortable fit than regular golf shoes with laces.

Spent a ton of money designing my own. They looked cool when they arrived, but they are harsh on the inside heel area.... not what I would expect at all at this price point. After 1 round of 18 holes I could barely walk.. the back of my heel had big chunks of skin missing and bleeding. There is absolutely no comfort back there - only very harsh feeling leather. If style is what you want, these will work. If comfort is important, look elsewhere!
