Great quality coat that fits comfortably. I bought this for a spring/fall coat but this coat would definitely work in winter.

Very nice, and soft. Nice pockets at the hips. The only thing I would want it a zippered pocket on the upper chest for things like money and credit cards. I like to keep the hip pockets empty for my hands to keep warm.

The Columbia Men's Lake 22 Down Jacket is warm and comfortable. The design's silhouette is not fitted and has a boxy shape - think Sponge Bob - that some may find unsatisfactory. I actually don't mind the fit, since I'll be wearing a sweater underneath but it should be pointed out. The Men's Lake 22 Down Jacket also does not have the Omni-Heat feature, although it is priced higher for some reason. The other deficit is the Columbia Logo. It's screen printed on and is not quality. I'll be drawing over it with a black Sharpie to reduce its impact (my jacket is black).

Just received this jacket, it fits well and i like the heat seal feature compared to all other stitch types out there on the market. It fits true to size and the cut is close to the body and overall very nice. One thing I noticed is that it smelled very bad right out of the package, unlike other down jackets that I owned, this one smelled like wet dog. I'm aware that natural down has distinct smells and after a hot cycle in the dryer with some dryer sheets, the smell went away.

Great coat but runs large in the shoulders and sleeves. We exchanged it for a size small for my 5'9" 140 lb teen son and are very happy with the purchase.

Nice jacket. Very lightweight, but surprisingly warm. A bit roomier than I'd like, but a pretty great jacket if you're not looking for a slim fit.

This is the ideal jacket. It is so light, yet so warm, and I just feel good and alive while wearing it. I particularly like the color which counters the damp grey of Portland winters and brings a brightness that makes me happy.

I bought the same size as another jacket that I ordered last Fall as the sizing guidelines were the same. This one fit differently so I had to return it for a larger size. I'm awaiting the new one and think it will be just what I need.

I like this jacket but because it is long so tight at the bottom. It does not cinch and so bending over or driving is difficult.

Based on the photo I thought it would fit looser, but when I received it and tried it on it was really tight. I purchased a Men's Roughtail Sherpa Lined Field Hoodie prior to this, also in medium, that fit so I would be able to layer under it. This Men's Lake 22 Down Jacket there was no way. I don't understand why two medium jackets don't fit the same. Anyway, the quality was great, just didn't fit.

5'7" 160lbs male. Item is high quality, functional, and stylish; however "Small" size hangs down to my thighs like a dress; yet is snug around chest & shoulders.

It really doesn't keep you warm as the other Columbia jackets. I thought it was not the real brand because it lacks the shiny look on the inside of the jacket.

I was under the assumption this had the OMNI heat in the lining?

OK so let's start off with Columbia is a great company I've been buying their products for years and in receiving my two jackets the material where the zipper lays is frayed like the machine ate it up the zipper still functions like it should but it looks really bad I'm really disappointed in the quality control and quality of what I got with my last purchase. The jacket looks great as long as you can't see the zipper is definitely warm on a 33 day just wearing a T-shirt and a jacket

5'8, 180 and normally an M is my size for everything Columbia. Got this in an M and I could barely zip it up. I managed to do so but then if I reach both arms forward, it pulls really tight underneath the armpits and it feels like I'm going to split the back apart. So I got a L, and that one fits me like a nightgown. It hung down almost below the crotch level the arms were super baggy and it just looked like a kid wearing a grown up jacket. Normally I have no issues with Columbia sizing but this jacket just wouldn't fit. As far as form and function though...it would have been a great jacket for cold but not too cold weather...mid 40s would be good, anything colder than that and you're likely to want something a little more substantial. There's no adjustment cord in the waist, which many other jackets feature and which I really like. In the end, I went with the Voodoo Falls Columbia jacket and that one is much better. Lined pockets, a great fit, a better cut, and certainly much warmer.

The jacket was too big and boxy for me, so I returned it. If you are bottom-heavy, the jacket should be a good fit. But if you are slender or athletic, it will probably be too boxy for you.

Fit it too large and the return/exchange process is terrible.

I ordered a Men's Lake 22" Down jacket last July and the front zipper is now inoperable. It does not unzip all the way down as it is stuck. I needed to pull it over my head to get out of it.

After only 3 months of fairly light use, the stitching along the bottom of the jacket starting to come apart in some areas, and the hanging loop broke off already. Bits of feather and down come out through the fabric occasionally. Poor quality overall.

It was pathetic. It smelled like rotten egg. Literally, when i got it, it smelled like rotten egg and i had to put it in my bag to save myself from embarrassment.
