Lightweight but warm, coat with removable inner jacket.

I love you I wearing it every day , it's perfect for regulars hikes I still didn't test for Extreme cold weather , but I am sure it would do fine . It's protect well from wind and I still need to do some test for heavy rain

This jacket (or I should say these jackets because of the interchange system) is amazing! The level of warmth was just what I needed living in kentucky where the weather changes so sporadically. I also travel to Cleveland OH where this jacket is still very much warm enough. I love the versatility and style of the jacket. Absolutely pleased with this purchase.

Really happy with this purchase. The jacket is very versatile and definitely keeps me dry/warm on the slopes. I've found myself wearing less layers thanks to the warmth it provides.

One of the most competitive all-purpose winter jackets on the market...awesome value for the level of performance! Had one as a kid in 1990, just purchased a second Whirlibird IV for my growing son and he loves it.

I gave this jacket to my son, it has a similar shell and zip in lining to mine and it makes the jacket perfect for changeable weather

Good solid winter ski coat ! It had a 3 coat option . Makes it a good coat for all weather ! It's a very warm coat when wearing all the layers

I bought this for a ski trip and my husband loved it. He enjoyed being able to use the liner to wear out and about as well as with the jacket for skiing and colder days. I'd recommend sizing down.

To all those who complain about the sizes being too big: your brains have been affected by the ludicrous modern trend of sizing down, wearing clothes that are at least 1 size too small. Columbia sizing is RIGHT ON THE MONEY. I'm a medium, and the Ms in regular/universal fit are super comfy, airy, breathable, allow for full range of motion. My only complaint is with any Columbia jackets that have a "body-skimming" fit. Those are TOO tight and restrict motion. I had to return one that I ordered. I'm assuming models with this cut are Columbia's way of attempting to placate the "let's-all-wear-clothing-2-sizes-smaller-than-what's-comfortable-cuz-it's-the-current-trend" masses. Please stop deriding Columbia's sizing when it is better than most other brand sizing. Columbia, don't you dare change the sizing.

need it for freezing and wet weather in the north, it did its job. felt really warm and protected me during rainy days. I liked the size of the many pockets it had on both the inner and outer.

Very nice looking jacket-- husband hasn't worn it in very cold temperatures yet but hopefully it keeps him warm.

Great coat! I have never had a warmer coat with the Omni Tech.

While I haven't had to use this jacket yet, I'm hoping that it will keep me warm the next time my wife drives us into a ditch.

Weird name but who cares when it's a superbly crafted, great fitting keep-you-dry-keep-you-warm-keep-you-happy-out-there-in-the-wet-and-cold jacket!!! Love it.

This jacket is incredibly warm. Having the two layers makes it super flexible to wear just the inner layer when its not too cold out and then the full set when its colder. The inner lining doesn't leave the mess that down leaves on clothes. Can't recommend it enough!

I love the jacket. It is lightweight but warm. I ordered a large because another Columbia jacket I have is large but this one is too big. I am sending it back but will be ordering a medium of the same model to replace it.

I love this coat it is so warm. And the wind and water resistance is so good I have used this coat with my motorcycle. The only negative I have is I'm on the shorter side and when I zip the zipper the whole way it is pretty much in my mouth. Other then that it's amazing totally worth the money

This jacket is a little longer than others which is great cuz cold air can't get in. a warm coat that doesn't weigh 10lbs.

If you are someone who likes having one jacket that does it all, please go ahead and order this. I live in downtown Chicago and ride my standing scooter ever since the pandemic hit. I used this jacket while riding my scooter when it was windy, approx. 35 degrees and I felt warm throughout my ride. Both inner and outer jackets have enough pockets for storage and the zippers definitely seem like they would last a lifetime. For a windy city like Chicago, this is definitely a good product.
